Inverter Installation
Step 1: Unscrew the bracket from the back of the inverter. Mark the position (223 mm x 30 mm) of three holes. Required tool: PH1 cross screwdriver. Torque: 0.8±0.1 N.m.
Step 2: Drill holes using a 10mm drill bit. Depth: at least 60 mm.
Step 3: Tighten the expansion bolts. Screw the expansion screws.
Step 4: Match the inverter with the bracket. Screw the cross recessed screw on the right side. Torque: 0.8±0.1 N.m.
Ensure available space: 300 mm clearance on all sides.
PV Connection
Cable size: 4 mm². Strip length: 7.0 mm.
Align the four halves connectors: positive DC pin contact, negative DC pin contact, clamp contact, male plug, female plug, nut, tight nut.
Connect the PV array to PV1 and PV2 on the inverter.
⚠️ Note: The PV connection mode as shown in the diagram is not allowed!
AC Connection
Cable preparation: outer jacket, strip length 6mm, total length 55mm.

Step 1: Slide the cable nut and back shell onto the cable.
Step 2: Insert the stripped end of each of the three wires into the holes in the female insert, then tighten each screw. Required tool: PH1 cross screwdriver. Torque: 0.5±0.1 N.m.
Step 3: Screw down the threaded sleeve of the pressure screw.
Step 4: Screw down the pressure screw.
Step 5: Connect the AC plug to the inverter.
Connections and Overview
Screw the ground screw with a ∅4 hexagon wrench. Torque: 1.5±0.2 N.m.
For CT/DRM/Meter/RS485 connections, torque: 1.0±0.1 N.m.
Prepare the RJ45 connector and communication cable, following the PIN definition and assembly order. Insert the RJ45 connector into the corresponding RS485 port of the inverter and tighten the waterproof connector.

Overview for connection: Public grid, inverter side AC port, CT, L line (arrow points to the public grid).
After checking all connections are correct, turn on the external DC/AC breakers. Turn on the DC switch to the "ON" position. The inverter will start automatically when PV panels generate enough energy. The LED will be blue and the LCD screen will display the main interface.
Firmware Upgrading
General Instructions: Ensure the DC switch is off and AC is disconnected from the grid. Users can update the inverter system via a U-disk. Please contact SolaX service for the latest firmware. Create a folder named "Update" on your U-disk, with sub-folders "ARM" and "DSP". Copy the firmware files into the respective folders (e.g., "Update\ARM\firmware.usb", "Update\DSP\firmware.usb").
Step 2: Press and hold the "v" key for 5 seconds to enter Off Mode. Then, insert the U-disk into the "DONGLE" port.
Step 3 (For inverters with LCD): After turning on all switches, the LCD will display upgrade options. Use the Up and Down keys to select the desired firmware (ARM or DSP), and long press "V" to confirm and start the upgrade. The screen will show the update progress (e.g., "Updating----25%").
Step 4: After the upgrade is complete, turn off the DC switch and AC switch, then remove the U-disk.
Important Note: Please contact SolaX support for the latest firmware. Unzip it onto your U-disk following the steps above. Do not modify the firmware file name, as this may cause damage to the inverter!
