5. Three modes

7. Three modes

a. Manual mode: Users charge and discharge at regular intervals. Several charging and discharging periods can be set. Simultaneous charging and discharging cannot be realized.

b. Self Consumption: For users who have a solar system in their home and whose electricity prices are relatively stable. These customers mainly want to store excess solar energy and the grid will not charge the device (except in the case of undervoltage). Discharge is based on the load power detected by Smart meter.

c. AI Optimization: Obtain real-time electricity price information in the region, and then charge when the electricity price is cheapest. At the same time, it learns the customer's power consumption habits and solar power generation data to dynamically optimize the entire charging plan. Realize intelligent management.

Screenshot: Mobile app "Charge/Discharge Strategy Setting" screen. Options are "Self Consumption", "AI Optimization", and "Manual". The "Manual" mode shows a schedule from "00:00--23:59" with "Charge: 200" and options to add rules.

6. Back up enable

8. Back up enable

Enable back up port output: Settings ➡️ Back up enable.

Screenshot: Mobile app "Settings" screen with an arrow pointing to "Back up enable".

7. Multiple Venus (three phase)

9. Multiple Venus (three phase)

When managing multiple devices, support controlling a single device per phase. If you have three Venus devices, zero feed-in can be achieved. However, with only two devices, one phase must remain unused.

Steps: CT ➡️ Output Power Reference ➡️ Single Phase ➡️ Auto Diagnosis.

Tips: V149 and APP 1.6.21 or above.

Screenshot 1: Mobile app "Venus" screen showing "Power", "StandBy", "Earning", "Battery (95%)". A red arrow points to the "Power" section.

Screenshot 2: Mobile app "CT View" screen showing "Marstek CT003 Offline". Below it, "Output Power Reference" with a "Change" button. Further down, "Diagnosing..." and a list of phases (A, B, C, E) showing 0. A red arrow points to "Single Phase" and another to "Auto Diagnosis".

8. Multiple Venus (single phase)

10. Multiple Venus (single phase)

When managing multiple devices, support controlling single-phase for multiple Venus. Firmware must V151 and support with MARSTEK CT002 or CT003.

Tips: Venus V151, CT002 V118 or CT003 V114. APP 1.6.21 or above.

FAQs

1. Self-consumption or AI mode don't work or unstable

When the auto mode doesn't work, try to auto diagnosis. Every time you reselect the meter, need the device to connect to the grid and set the auto mode and detect it. So it is not recommended to switch meters frequently.

e.g. use CT003, but doesn't work.

CT ➡️ Click output power reference ➡️ Auto Diagnosis (10-30S).

Tips: MARSTEK APP 1.6.21 or above.

2. WIFI or Bluetooth connection not stable

A. WIFI Signal Strength: WIFI signal is recommended to be greater than -50db. If the signal is too weak, it will cause unstable connection. The strength of your model is below -70db and the data transmission is very unstable.

B. Bluetooth is occupied: Bluetooth must be connected via the MARSTEK APP. If connected directly through a cell phone, it results in the Bluetooth being occupied and cannot be connected.

C. Permission

IOS: Bluetooth switch + APP's Bluetooth permission

Android: Bluetooth switch + APP's Bluetooth permission + location permission

Screenshot 1: iOS "Settings" screen showing "Marstek" app permissions. Options include "Location (While Using)", "Bluetooth".

Screenshot 2: iOS Control Center with various toggles and icons.

Screenshot 3: Android Quick Settings panel showing toggles for "WLAN", "Bluetooth", "Mobile data", "Location", "Hotspot", etc.

3. WIFI or Bluetooth Reconnection

a. Please upgrade firmware to V149 or higher version.

b. Check WIFI signal strength, recommend above 50dBm.

c. Follow the steps to reconnect:

Before establishing Bluetooth connection: 1. Please turn on your cell phone's Bluetooth; 2. Please open Bluetooth permission for the app; 3. Please establish Bluetooth connection next to Venus.

Please open the app ➡️ Add Device (top left corner) ➡️ Add via Bluetooth. Here you should find Venus. Then go back to the start page ➡️ Settings ➡️ WLAN Configuration. Please note that Venus only supports 2.4GHz WLAN. The recommended signal strength is from 30 dBm to 40 dBm. After WIFI configuration is successful, the WIFI logo on the home page is green.

d. If the connection cannot be established during Bluetooth connection or WLAN configuration, you can restart the APP and try again.

4. Add new meter into lists.

Send the meter picture to support team ➡️ Contact support team for testing ➡️ Finish testing and add into the lists.

5. Upgrade failure.

a. Make sure the APP 1.6.2 or higher version.

b. When 100%, must wait for 3-5 minutes to make sure the central control upgrade is completely.

c. Disconnect RS485 when upgrade BMS.

Follow the steps to restart:

a. Disconnect the grid connection.

b. Long press 10-20S to turn off the device.

c. Turn on the device.
