Logitech Control Firmware Update App
Logitech offers the "Logitech Control" iPadOS app to update your device's firmware. Download it from the App Store. It is recommended to keep your device's firmware up-to-date.
Firmware Update Procedure
During a firmware update, do not use the keyboard or touchpad. Ensure the keyboard remains connected and the Logitech Control app is open. Placing the device in "typing mode" on a stable surface can help prevent accidental disconnection.
If the keyboard disconnects or the app closes during an update, it may not complete successfully, potentially leading to loss of functionality. To force a firmware update in such cases:
- Open the Logitech Control App. Ensure you are using the latest version from the App Store.
- Within the app, locate the image of the keyboard. Place your fingers on the Q, W, and E keys simultaneously.
- Observe the text below the Logi logo; it should change to "Unlocking Firmware Update" upon success.
- Once "Unlocking Firmware Update" is displayed, tap the "FIRMWARE UPDATE AVAILABLE" button (which may appear grayed out).
- A "New Firmware" window will appear. Tap "Start Update" to begin the firmware update process.
Important Note: Keep the keyboard attached, the app open, and refrain from using the keyboard or touchpad during the entire update process.
