Dimming Module (PPA401S) Installation
- With supply power off, connect wiring as shown in the diagram. Note: Open knockout on fixture or junction box prior to this step if needed.
- Mount the dimming module.
- Follow pairing instructions for the intended controller (dimmer switch, WP4013). Note: To unpair, hold the PAIR button for 5 seconds. You will hear four beeps to confirm unpairing is complete.
Wiring Diagram Description: The diagram illustrates the PPA401S dimming module connections. The Black wire connects to the 120–277 VAC Input (Line). The White wire connects to Neutral. The Red wire serves as the Line Output to the Driver. The Pink wire is for DIM (-) and the Purple wire is for DIM (+). A PAIR button is visible on the module.
Multiple lights can be controlled with one dimming module, provided the maximum load (10 A) is not exceeded. Dimming wires can be connected through conduit-side wires or an external connector on the controller body, but should not be connected to both simultaneously.
Dimmer Switch (WP4013) Installation
- Being careful to avoid any live wires, install the full wall plate or adapter plate with the tab on the bottom side as shown in the diagram.
- Install the CR2032 battery (not included) into the remote, but do not install the remote into the wall plate at this time.
- With the dimming module powered on, press the PAIR button on the module. The LED on the module will flash quickly.
- Hold the ON/OFF button on the remote for 3 seconds to pair with the dimming module. An audible beep indicates the remote has been paired with the dimming module.
- Test the remote to confirm successful pairing. Note: Up/Down buttons respond to individual presses and will not make continual adjustments if held down.
- Once pairing is complete, slide the remote into the wall plate. Note: Removal of the remote will require removal of the wall plate.
Remote Installation Diagram Description: The diagram shows the WP4013 dimmer switch remote and its installation into a wall plate. The remote slides into the plate, which has a tab on the bottom.
