Using the Appliance
Installation
Appliance Positioning
Place the appliance in a location where dishes can be loaded and unloaded easily. Avoid placing it in areas where the ambient temperature drops below 0°C. Read all packaging warnings before unpacking and installing. Position the appliance near a water tap and a drain. Connections cannot be modified once installed. Do not lift the appliance by the door or panel. Ensure adequate space around the appliance for cleaning.
ATTENTION: Ensure supply and drain hoses are not kinked and the appliance is not resting on the power cable. Adjust the feet to ensure the appliance is level and stable on a flat floor; otherwise, it will be unstable and the door may not close properly.
Water Inlet Connection
It is recommended to install a filter on your tap to prevent damage from contamination (sand, rust, etc.). This will also prevent yellowing and deposit formation after washing. Check the water pipe inscription: for models indicating 25°C, the water temperature must not exceed 25°C (cold water). For all other models, cold water is preferred, or hot water up to a maximum of 60°C.
Water Inlet Hose
Diagram description: A diagram shows a water tap connected to a flexible hose.
WARNING: Use the new water inlet hose provided with your appliance; do not use an old hose. WARNING: Run water through the new hose before connecting it. WARNING: Connect the hose directly to the water tap. The pressure from the tap must be between a minimum of 0.03 MPa and a maximum of 1 MPa. If the pressure exceeds 1 MPa, a pressure reducer must be installed at the connection point. WARNING: Once connections are made, fully open the tap and check for leaks. Always turn off the water tap at the end of a wash program.
Drain Hose (Model Dependent)
Diagram description: A diagram shows the drain hose connected to a sink trap, with minimum height (50 cm), maximum height (110 cm), and minimum distance from the floor (4 cm) indicated.
Connect the drain hose directly to the water drain or sink outlet. This connection must be placed at a minimum of 50 cm and a maximum of 110 cm from the floor on which the dishwasher is placed.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Dishware will not be washed correctly if a drain hose longer than 4m is used.
Diagrams show a checkmark for a hose length of 0.5-1.1m and a cross for an incorrect length.
Electrical Connections
WARNING: Your appliance is set to operate at 220-240V. If your appliance's mains supply is 110V, connect a 110/220V, 3000W transformer at the electrical connection point.
ATTENTION: Connect the product to an earth socket protected by a fuse conforming to the values in the "Technical Specifications" table.
ATTENTION: The appliance's earth connection must be connected to a grounded wall socket supplied with an appropriate voltage and power.
ATTENTION: If there is no earthing installation, an approved electrician must perform the earthing. In case of use without earthing, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any resulting damage.
ATTENTION: The appliance plug may include a 13A fuse depending on the target country (e.g., United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia).
Installing the appliance under a worktop
If you wish to install the appliance under a worktop, ensure there is sufficient space and that the electrical and plumbing installations are suitable (1). If the space under the worktop allows for installation, remove the top panel as shown in illustration (2).
WARNING: The worktop under which the appliance will be placed must be stable to prevent imbalance.
The top panel of the dishwasher must be removed to install the appliance under the worktop. To remove the top panel, unscrew the retaining screws located at the rear of the appliance. Then, push the panel 1 cm from front to back and lift it. Adjust the appliance's feet according to the floor slope (3). Install your appliance by sliding it under the worktop, taking care not to crush or kink the hoses (4).

Before using the appliance
Preparation for first use
- Ensure electrical and water supply specifications match those in the installation instructions.
- Remove all packaging materials from inside the appliance.
- Adjust the water softener level.
- Fill the rinse aid compartment.
Using Salt (IF AVAILABLE)
For optimal washing, the dishwasher requires soft water (low in calcium). Hard water can leave white residue on dishes and inside the appliance, negatively impacting washing, drying, and shine. The water softener system removes hardness ions, softening the water for best results. The softener needs to be refreshed with salt. Use only special dishwasher salt; fine or ground salt can damage the appliance.
Filling with Salt (IF AVAILABLE)
Diagram description: Four diagrams show how to open the salt compartment lid (turn counter-clockwise), fill with water and salt (using funnel), and close the lid.
Open the salt compartment lid by turning counter-clockwise (1, 2). Fill with 1 kg of salt and water until it is almost overflowing (3). Use a funnel (4) for easier filling. Replace and close the lid. Refill after 20-30 cycles until the compartment is full (approx. 1 kg).
ATTENTION: Add only water to the salt compartment during the first use.
Use specific dishwasher softening salt. The salt compartment fills with water when the dishwasher starts; add salt before starting. If salt overflows and you do not start the appliance immediately, run a short wash program to protect against corrosion.
Water Hardness Table

Water Softening System
The dishwasher is equipped with a water softener that reduces water hardness. Contact your water supplier or use a test strip to determine your tap water hardness level.
Test Strip
Diagram description: Four steps illustrated: Run tap water (1 min), dip strip (1 sec), shake strip, wait (1 min), read hardness level.
NOTE: The default level is 3. If water comes from a well or has a hardness level above 90 dF, we recommend using a filtering and softening device.
Setting
- Turn on the appliance by pressing the On/Off button.
- Press the "delay start" button for at least 3 seconds immediately after turning on the appliance.
- Release the "delay start" button when "SL" is displayed. The last set level is then displayed.
- Press the Half Load button to adjust the desired level. Each press increases/decreases the level. Pressing cycles through levels 1-6.
- The selected water hardness level is saved when the appliance is turned off using the On/Off button.
Using Detergent
Use only detergents specifically designed for domestic dishwashers. Store detergents in a dry, cool place out of reach of children. Add the appropriate detergent for the chosen program to achieve the best performance. The required amount of detergent depends on the cycle, load, and soil level of the dishes. Do not add more detergent than necessary, as this can cause white marks or a bluish film on glasses and dishes, and may lead to corrosion. Excessive detergent use can damage the appliance. Using too little detergent may result in unsatisfactory washing results and leave white marks if the water is hard. Consult the detergent manufacturer's information for more details.
Filling Detergent
Diagram description: Two diagrams showing how to open the detergent dispenser lid and pour detergent.
Press the tab to open the compartment and pour in the detergent. Close the lid and press it until it clicks. The compartment should be filled just before starting each program. If the dishes are very dirty, add an extra dose of detergent in the pre-wash compartment.
Using Combined Detergents
These products (tablets) must be used according to the manufacturer's instructions. Never place combined products directly into the tub or the cutlery basket. Combined products contain not only detergent but also rinse aid, salt substitutes, and additional components depending on the combination. We recommend not using combined products for short programs; use powder detergent instead. If you encounter problems with combined detergents, please contact the detergent manufacturer. When you stop using combined detergents, ensure that the water hardness and rinse aid settings are appropriate.
Using Rinse Aid
Rinse aid helps dry dishes without streaks or spots, ensuring spotless utensils and clear glasses. It is automatically released during the hot rinse phase. If the rinse aid dosage is too low, white spots may remain on dishes, which will not be well dried or washed. If the rinse aid dosage is too high, a bluish film will appear on glasses and dishes.
Filling and Adjusting Rinse Aid
Diagram description: Two diagrams showing how to open the rinse aid compartment and fill it to MAX.
To fill the rinse aid compartment, open the lid. Fill the compartment with rinse aid up to the MAX level, then close the lid. Be careful not to overfill the rinse aid compartment and wipe up any splashes.
To change the rinse aid level, follow these steps before turning on the appliance:
- Turn off the appliance by pressing the On/Off button.
- Press the "delay start" button for at least 5 seconds immediately after turning on the appliance.
- Release the "delay start" button when "rA" is displayed. The rinse aid level setting follows the water softener setting. The last set level is then displayed.
- Adjust the level by pressing the Half Load button.
- Turn off the appliance to save the setting.
- The factory setting is 4.
If dishes are not drying well or have spots, increase the level. If a blue film forms on your dishes, decrease the level.
Level | Dose of product | Indicator |
---|---|---|
1 | Rinse aid not released | r1 appears on the screen. |
2 | 1 dose released | r2 appears on the screen. |
3 | 2 doses released | r3 appears on the screen. |
4 | 3 doses released | r4 appears on the screen. |
5 | 4 doses released | r5 appears on the screen. |
Loading the Dishwasher
Follow these loading instructions for optimal results. Loading the domestic dishwasher respecting the maximum capacity indicated by the manufacturer contributes to energy and water savings. Hand pre-rinsing is not recommended and leads to increased water and energy consumption. You can place cups, glasses, small plates, bowls, delicate items, etc., in the upper basket. Do not let long glasses touch each other, as they may become unstable and be damaged. When placing stemmed glasses or coupes, position them against the edge of the basket or shelf, not against other items. Place all containers, such as cups, glasses, and pots, upside down in the dishwasher; otherwise, water may accumulate inside. If there is a cutlery basket in the appliance, it is recommended to use the grid cover for best results. Place all large items (pots, pans, lids, plates, salad bowls, etc.) and heavily soiled items in the lower basket. Plates and cutlery should not be placed on top of each other.
WARNING: Be careful not to obstruct the rotation of the spray arms.
WARNING: Ensure that the dishes do not prevent the detergent compartment from opening.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Remove food scraps from dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Start the program once the appliance is loaded.
ATTENTION: Do not overload the baskets, and do not place dishes in the wrong basket.
Four Folding Racks

Practical Information
Cleaning and Maintenance
It is important to clean your dishwasher to prolong its lifespan. Ensure the water softener setting (if applicable) is correct and an adequate amount of detergent is used to prevent limescale buildup. When the salt level indicator lights up, add salt. Over time, grease and limescale can accumulate in your dishwasher. If this occurs:
- Fill the detergent compartment without loading dishes. Select a high-temperature program and run the dishwasher empty. If this does not sufficiently clean your dishwasher, use a specific dishwasher cleaning product.
- To prolong your dishwasher's lifespan, clean it regularly every month.
- Regularly clean the door seals with a damp cloth to remove any residue or foreign objects.
Filters
Diagram description: Diagrams show how to remove and clean the filters (1, 2, 3, 4).
Clean the filters and spray arms at least once a week. If food residue or foreign objects remain on the fine and large filters, remove and clean them thoroughly with water.
- a) Microfilter
- b) Large filter
- c) Metal filter
To remove and clean the filter unit, turn it counter-clockwise and lift it out (1). Remove the large filter from the micro-filter (2). Then pull out the metal filter (3). Rinse the filter thoroughly with water until no residue remains. Reassemble the filters. Replace the filter unit and turn it clockwise (4).
- Never use your dishwasher without a filter.
- Incorrect filter installation reduces washing efficiency.
- Clean filters are necessary for correct appliance operation.
Spray Arms
Ensure the spray arm jet holes are not blocked and that no food residue or foreign objects are stuck in the spray arms. If blocked, remove the spray arms and clean them under running water. To remove the upper spray arm, unscrew the nut while holding it in position, turning it clockwise and pulling downwards. Ensure the nut is securely screwed when replacing the arm.
Drain Pump
Large food residues or foreign objects not retained by the filters can block the wastewater pump. Rinse water will then remain above the filter.
WARNING: Risk of cuts! When cleaning the wastewater pump, be careful not to injure yourself with small pieces of glass or sharp objects.
In this case:
- First, always unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Remove the baskets.
- Remove the filters.
- Scoop out water, using a sponge if necessary.
- Check the area and remove any foreign objects.
- Install the filters.
- Replace the baskets.
