Important Safety Instructions

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions must be followed:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged at least 8 years and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or persons who do not know its correct use, provided they are supervised or trained on the safe use of the appliance and are able to understand the associated risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
  2. Clear the area to be cleaned. Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that could obstruct the appliance. Fold carpet fringes under the carpet and lift objects like curtains and tablecloths from the floor.
  3. If there is a possibility of falling into the area to be cleaned, for example, due to steps, the appliance must be set up so that it can detect the steps without falling. Barriers may need to be placed on the edge to prevent the robot from falling. Ensure that the physical barrier does not pose a tripping hazard to people.
  4. Use the appliance only as intended in this manual. Use only accessories recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
  5. Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to that indicated on the charging base.
  6. For INDOOR use only. Do not use the appliance outdoors or in commercial or industrial environments.
  7. Use only the original rechargeable batteries and the manufacturer's charging base supplied with the appliance. The use of non-rechargeable batteries is not permitted.
  8. Do not use without the dustbin and filters installed.
  9. Do not use the appliance in an area with lit candles or fragile objects.
  10. Do not use in extremely hot or cold conditions (below -5 °C or above 40 °C).
  11. Keep hair, clothing, fingers, and any part of the body away from openings and moving parts of the appliance.
  12. Do not use the appliance in a room where an infant or child is sleeping.
  13. Do not use the appliance on wet surfaces or with stagnant water.
  14. Do not let the appliance pick up large objects such as stones, large pieces of paper, or objects that could obstruct it.
  15. Do not use the appliance to pick up flammable or combustible materials such as gasoline, printer toner, or photocopier toner, nor use it in areas where these may be present.
  16. Do not use the appliance to pick up incandescent or smoking materials, such as cigarettes, matches, glowing embers, or anything that could cause a fire.
  17. Do not insert objects into the suction port. Do not use the appliance if the suction port is blocked. Keep the port free from dust, lint, hair, or anything that could reduce airflow.
  18. Be careful not to damage the power cord. Do not pull or drag the appliance or the charging base by the power cord, do not use the power cord as a handle, do not close the power cord in a door, and do not drag the power cord over sharp edges or corners. Do not run the appliance over the power cord. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
  19. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or customer service to avoid risks.
  20. Do not use the charging base if it is damaged. Do not attempt to repair the power supply and do not use it if it is damaged or malfunctioning.
  21. Do not use the appliance with damaged sockets or power cords. Do not use the appliance or charging base if they do not function correctly, if they have been dropped, left outdoors, or come into contact with water. In these cases, repair by the manufacturer or customer service will be necessary to avoid risks.
  22. Turn off the appliance before cleaning or performing maintenance.
  23. The plug must be removed from the power outlet before cleaning or performing maintenance on the charging base.
  24. Remove the appliance from the charging base and turn the power switch to OFF before removing the battery for disposal of the appliance.
  25. The battery must be removed and disposed of according to current laws and regulations before disposing of the appliance.
  26. Dispose of used batteries according to current laws and regulations.
  27. Do not incinerate the appliance, even if it is severely damaged. Batteries could explode and cause a fire.
  28. Unplug the charging base from the power outlet if it is not used for a prolonged period.
  29. The appliance must be used according to the instructions in this User Manual. Our company cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by inappropriate use.
  30. The robot contains batteries that can only be replaced by competent persons. To replace the robot's battery, contact customer service.
  31. If the robot is not used for a long time, turn it off for storage and unplug the charging base.

WARNING: To recharge the battery, use only the removable power unit L1 provided with the appliance.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

To meet RF exposure requirements, it is advisable to maintain a distance of 20 cm or more between the device and people during appliance operation. To ensure compliance, operation at close distances is not recommended. The antenna used for this transmitter must not be used in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.

Instructions for Correct Product Disposal

This symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of with other household waste throughout the European Union. To prevent damage to the environment or health caused by uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To recycle your used appliance, use the collection and return services or contact the retailer where the product was purchased, who will be able to dispose of it correctly.

1. Product Introduction

1.1 Packing List

Different models in this series may vary in appearance, parameters, or configuration, but their usage methods are the same. This manual uses one of the models as an example.

2. Preparation

2.1 Assembly and Charging

  1. Remove the protective film from the robot and the docking station.
  2. Install the side brushes by pressing them onto the designated posts until they click into place.
  3. Positioning the Docking Station: Place the docking station in an open area. Connect the power adapter and arrange the power cord to prevent tangling. Ensure at least 0.5 meters (1.64 ft) of clearance on both sides and 1.5 meters (4.92 ft) in front of the docking station.
  4. Turn on the Robot: Set the ON/OFF switch to 'I' (ON). Note: The product cannot be charged when it is turned off.
  5. Charging: Place the robot onto the docking station, ensuring the charging electrodes align. A blinking light indicates charging; a solid light indicates fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.

2.2 Environment Preparation

Tidy Up the Room: Organize objects on the floor, such as wires, slippers, and other items, to avoid hindering the robot's operation. If your carpet has fringed edges, tuck the edges under the carpet before starting.

3.3 App Download and Configuration

Download and install the "Lefant" app. You can do this by scanning the provided QR code (not included here) or by searching for "Lefant" in your device's app store (iOS or Android).

Note: The robot only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.

  1. Clean the drop sensors to ensure sensor sensitivity.
  2. Clean the universal wheel to prevent hair entanglement.
  3. Clean the charging electrodes to ensure proper charging.
  4. Clean the suction port to prevent dust blockage.
  5. Clean the drive wheel to ensure smooth operation.
  6. Clean the anti-collision sensors to avoid sensitive obstacles.
  7. Clean the side brush to prevent hair entanglement.
  8. Clean the charging electrodes on the docking station to ensure correct charging.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 Anomaly Prompts

When the robot encounters problems, the red indicator light will turn on or flash, and it will emit beeps of different durations. The following table summarizes corresponding causes and solutions:

Flashing Red Light 6 beeps Ground detection alarm The robot is suspended in the air. Please move it to the ground.
9 beeps Entrapment alarm The robot cannot free itself from an obstacle; please move it to an open area.
12 beeps Low battery Move the robot to the docking station for charging.
15 beeps Adapter anomaly Clean the electrode and ensure you are using the original adapter.
Solid or Flashing Red Light 18 beeps Charging anomaly Check if the machine is turned on.

If the above methods do not resolve the issue, try restarting the robot by turning the ON/OFF button under the front panel off and then on again.

4.2 General Problem Solving

If you encounter the following problems, you can try to resolve them independently:

Fault Possible Causes Solutions
Cleaning Anomaly Clogging of cleaning components It is recommended to regularly replace consumables such as high-efficiency filters (HEPA), pre-filters, and side brushes.
Dust on sensors and other components Refer to the [Maintenance] chapter of this manual to clean the machine.
Cannot Connect to App Wi-Fi pairing mode not activated Press and hold the start/pause button for 3 seconds to enter Wi-Fi pairing mode. Refer to the [App Download and Configuration] chapter.
2.4GHz network not being used Refer to the [App Download and Configuration] chapter.
Difficult Return and Recharge Incorrect positioning of the charging base Position the charging base in an open and flat area.
Charging base is off or has been manually moved Verify the charging base is connected to power. Do not move the charging base position while the robot is operating.
House is too large and the environment is complex Refer to the [Environment Preparation] chapter. If the home environment is too complex, consider using multiple charging bases.
Robot did not start cleaning from the docking station Allow the robot to clean starting from the docking station.
Cannot Charge Power adapter not connected or plug is loose Check if both ends of the power adapter are connected and powered on normally.
Poor contact between the robot and the charging electrode of the docking station Ensure the robot's charging electrode and the docking station's charging base are fully connected and regularly clean the charging electrodes of both the robot and the docking station.
Battery deterioration due to prolonged disuse It is recommended to use this product frequently. If the battery cannot be charged due to a long period of disuse, contact customer service.
