Product Overview

This section provides an overview of the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic, including the charging case and the earphones themselves.

Charging Case

The charging case houses and charges the earphones. It features an indicator light and a charging port.

Earphones

Each earphone has a touch area, a secondary microphone, a primary microphone, and an indicator light.

Instructions

Charging

Charging the earphones: The earphones automatically start charging when placed in the charging case.

Charging the charging case: The indicator light on the charging case is white during charging and turns off when fully charged.

Checking Battery Level

Earphones: Battery level can be checked on the phone's status bar after connecting. Note that it displays the level of the earphone with the lowest battery.

Charging Case: Open the lid or place earphones in the case. A lit indicator for 5 seconds means sufficient battery. A blinking white indicator means the battery is low and requires charging.

Mi Phone Integration: With Bluetooth enabled on a Mi phone, opening the charging case lid near the phone displays a notification with battery levels for both earphones and the case.

Turning On

The earphones automatically turn on when the charging case is opened. For first-time use, place them in the case and close the lid to activate.

Sleep Mode

The earphones automatically disconnect and enter sleep mode when placed back into the charging case and the lid is closed.

Wearing

Insert the earphones into your ears, noting the left (L) and right (R) indicators. Placing them back in the charging case after use helps maintain their lifespan and prevents loss.

Connecting

Connecting to a New Device

Place earphones in the charging case. Press and hold the touch area of either earphone for 3 seconds until the indicator blinks white.
Enable Bluetooth on your device, find "Mi TW Earphones 2 Basic", and connect. Enter "0000" if a passcode is required.

Connecting with a Mi Phone

Place earphones in the charging case, close the lid, and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Mi phone. Hold the phone near the case and open the lid. Follow on-screen instructions for connection. This fast connection feature may require the latest Mi phone software version.

Connection Interruption

If the device is out of range or Bluetooth is disabled, earphones enter awaiting connection mode. They enter sleep mode if no connection is made within five minutes.

Automatic Connection

Opening the charging case lid automatically connects to the last used device. If no connection is made within five minutes, they enter sleep mode.

Note: If automatic connection fails, manually connect via device Bluetooth settings.

Bluetooth signal interference in dense environments may cause occasional disconnects.

Clearing Connection History

Place both earphones in the charging case.
Simultaneously press and hold the touch areas of both earphones for seven seconds until the indicators turn white.
The earphones are reset, and connection history is cleared. Indicators blink white, awaiting connection.

Function Overview

Incoming Calls

Tap either earphone twice to answer or end calls.

Music and Voice Assistant

Both Earphones: Tap the right (R) earphone twice to play/pause music. Tap the left (L) earphone twice to access the voice assistant.
Taking out an earphone: Music pauses automatically.
One Earphone: Tap the earphone twice to play/pause music.

Notes: (1) Voice assistant requires device support and granted permissions. (2) When using only the left earphone, place the right earphone in the charging case and close the lid.
