Product Overview

The Quectel EM160R-GL is an LTE Advanced Category 16 module designed for the global market. It adopts 3GPP Release 14 technology, offering a theoretical downlink peak data rate of 1.0 Gbps and an uplink peak data rate of 150 Mbps. The module utilizes the M.2 form factor and is compatible with other Quectel modules, facilitating migration paths. It supports Qualcomm® IZat™ location technology Gen9-VT (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou/Compass, and Galileo) for accurate positioning.

The EM160R-GL is suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial routers, home gateways, STBs, industrial and consumer laptops, industrial PDAs, rugged tablet PCs, and digital signage. It features a rich set of Internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces (PCIe, USB), and optional built-in eSIM.
