Setup and Operation

Attach the pendulum to the clock movement.
Insert 2 "AA" size batteries into Battery Compartment 1 (2) and 1 "AA" size battery into Battery Compartment 2 (4), observing the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. Adjust the Time Setting Knob (5) to set the correct time.
The Volume Switch (1) has three levels: left (silence), middle (low), and right (high). Move the switch to your desired position.

To set the bird voice to play correctly, follow these instructions: The clock has a programmed silent period from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM daily. The initial bird voice playback starts at 6:00 AM. You need to inform the clock whether the current local time is during the day or night.

If the setting time is between 5:00 AM and 5:59 AM, no button press is required.
If the setting time is between 6:00 AM and 6:59 AM, press the Soft-Set Button (3) once.
If the setting time is between 7:00 AM and 7:59 AM, press the Soft-Set Button (3) quickly and continuously twice.
If the setting time is between 8:00 AM and 8:59 AM, press the Soft-Set Button (3) quickly and continuously three times.
If the setting time is between 9:00 AM and 9:59 AM, press the Soft-Set Button (3) quickly and continuously four times.
If the setting time is between 4:00 AM and 4:59 AM, press the Soft-Set Button (3) quickly and continuously twenty-three times.

Maintenance

A soft cloth may be used to clean your clock. Do not use corrosive cleaners or chemical solutions on the clock.
