Inserting Batteries
Open the battery cover (batteries are not included).
Put in 3 batteries, making sure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends match the illustration. The illustration shows a battery compartment for three AA 1.5V batteries, arranged with alternating polarity: the top and bottom slots require the positive (+) end facing left, while the middle slot requires the positive (+) end facing right. A separate visual indicates that three AA 1.5V batteries are needed.
The light will turn on and the cuckoo will chime for 3 seconds to indicate power is on.
Close the battery cover after the batteries are correctly inserted.
