This advanced passive harmonic filter is designed for iC7 converters with rated currents up to 480 A, improving harmonic conditions. Parallel connection allows for higher specifications. This range offers two versions, for 10% and 5% or higher THDi system requirements. In partial load operation, this passive harmonic solution achieves optimal energy efficiency, outperforming most AFE-based solutions.

LC Filter OF7Z1

LC filters for AFE and grid-tied converters, suitable for regenerative and low-harmonic applications. When regenerative or low-harmonic functionality is required in an application, an LC filter installed between the power supply and the converter is necessary. In close combination with AFE or grid-tied converters, this filter ensures correct power quality and minimal grid interruptions. This LC filter is the correct choice when a dedicated transformer serves a converter.

Advantages:

  • Minimizes grid interruptions.
  • Smooths the waveform of capacitors and inductors for optimal integration.

L Filter OF7Z5

For water-cooled applications requiring LCL filters, the LC filter OF7Z1 can be combined with the OF7Z5 filter. Do not use this L filter alone.

  • Minimizes harmonic distortion in the power grid.
  • Suitable for regenerative and low-harmonic applications.

LCL Filter OF7Z3

LCL filters for air-cooled AFE and grid-tied converters are suitable for regenerative and low-harmonic applications. When regenerative or low-harmonic functionality is required, the dedicated LCL filter for AFE modules is the correct choice. In close combination with AFE or grid-tied converters, this filter ensures optimal performance and minimizes harmonic distortion in the power grid. For water-cooled applications requiring LCL filters, the LC filter OF7Z1 can be combined with the L filter OF7Z5.

DC/DC Filter OF7D1

DC/DC converters require a DC filter to be installed between the DC power supply and the converter to control current and increase voltage. DC/DC filters smooth current and voltage waveforms, suitable for most DC power supplies and loads.

  • Improves DC/DC converter voltage.
