RYOBI RYRM8001 Quick Start Guide
[warning] This Quick Start Guide is not a substitute for reading and following the operator's manual. To reduce the risk of death or serious injury, user must read and understand the operator's manual before using this product.
Operating the Mower:
- Test the safety interlock system. See page 17 in the operator's manual for details.
- Adjust the seat (2) to desired position.
- Verify battery charge level by pressing the mode button on the LCD Screen (3). Charge if needed.
- Raise the mower deck (1) to its highest position.
- Make sure the joystick (5) is in the locked, neutral position. See page 18 in the operator's manual.
- Insert the start key (6) and turn to ON position.
- Release parking brake (4).
- Drive to desired mowing location. For detailed driving instructions, see page 18 in the operator's manual.
- Stop mower, place the joystick (5) in the locked, neutral position, and set the parking brake (4).
- Lower cutting deck (1) to desired position.
- Turn start key (6) to ON position, raise the joystick (5) from the locked, neutral position, and release parking brake (4).
- Raise blade engage knob (7) to activate blades and mow as desired.
When Finished:
- Stop mower on a flat, level surface.
- Push blade engage knob (7) down to turn blades off.
- Place the joystick (5) in the locked, neutral position.
- Set parking brake (4).
- Turn key (6) off.
