Ryobi Quick Start Guide
WARNING: This Quick Start Guide is not a substitute for reading and following the operator's manual. To reduce the risk of serious injury, user must read and understand the operator's manual before using this product.
Operating the Mower:
- Test safety interlock system. See page 17 for details.
- Adjust seat to desired position.
- Verify battery charge level. Charge if needed.
- Raise mower deck to highest position.
- Insert start key and turn to ON position.
- Release parking brake.
- Place direction control switch in forward (F) position and drive to desired mowing location.
- Stop mower, turn key to OFF, and set parking brake.
- Lower cutting deck to desired position.
- Turn start key to ON position and release parking brake.
- Raise blade engage knob to activate blades, and press accelerator to mow as desired.
To Reverse Mow:
- Depress brake and bring mower to a complete stop.
- Push blade engage knob down to turn blades off.
- Place direction control switch in reverse (R) position.
- Press reverse mode button.
- Raise the blade engage knob, slowly press accelerator and reverse mow as needed.
When Finished:
- Stop mower on a flat, level surface.
- Push blade engage knob down to turn blades off.
- Place direction control switch in neutral (N).
- Set parking brake.
- Turn key off.
