Warnings:
- Charging: Use only a certified Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) supply unit with 5V, ≥1A output. For moist environments (e.g., bathroom), use an IPX4 (splash-proof) unit. - Keep the USB cable, USB supply unit, and charging stand dry.
- The appliance is waterproof (IPX4) and suitable for use in the bath or shower, and for cleaning under the tap. For safety, it can only be used without a cord.
- Children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities may use the appliance under supervision or with instruction, understanding the risks. Children must not play with, clean, or maintain the appliance unsupervised.
- Do not modify the supply unit.
- Do not use the supply unit near electric air fresheners to prevent damage.
- Do not use a damaged appliance; replace damaged parts with genuine Philips parts.
- For hygiene, use by one person only.
- Unplug before cleaning with water.
- Clean with cold or lukewarm water only.

Getting Started:
Charging the Appliance:
- Connect the USB cable to the trimmer and a suitable 5V, ≥1A power source.
- The charging indicator light [charging-indicator] will show the charging status.
- A full charge (60 minutes) provides up to 120 minutes of cordless use [cordless-use].
How to Use:
Beard and Hair Trimming:
- Select the desired comb attachment or use the trimmer without a comb for a stubble effect (approx. 0.5mm).
- Attach the comb securely to the trimmer unit.
- For trimming, move the trimmer against the direction of hair growth.
- Use the adjustable combs for precise length settings (e.g., 1mm to 20mm, depending on the comb).
Using Specific Attachments:
- Detail Trimmer: Use for outlining and detailing beard edges, mustaches, and sideburns.
- Nose and Ear Trimmer: Gently insert the trimmer head into the nostril or ear canal and move it to trim hairs.
- Foil Shaver: Hold the skin taut and move the shaver against the direction of hair growth for a close shave.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Cleaning the Trimmer:
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning.
- Rinse the trimmer head and attachments under cold or lukewarm running water.
- Do not use harsh cleaning agents or immerse the main unit in water if not specified as fully waterproof.
- Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning.
Battery Removal (for disposal)
The built-in rechargeable battery should only be removed by a qualified professional when the appliance is discarded.
Safety Precautions:
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged and the battery is completely empty before removal.
- Use appropriate tools and take necessary safety precautions when opening the appliance and handling the battery.
