Product Overview and Attachments
This document provides instructions for the Philips MG59xx series multi-groomer. The series includes models MG5918, MG5921, MG5931, MG5941, MG5951, and MG5952.
Attachments and Length Settings
The grooming kit includes various attachments for different lengths:
- 1 mm cutting length
- 2 mm cutting length
- 3 mm cutting length
- 5 mm cutting length
- 9 mm cutting length
- 12 mm cutting length
- 16 mm cutting length
- Comb attachment for 1 mm - 3 mm
- Comb attachment for 3 mm - 7 mm
- Comb attachment for 9 mm - 13 mm
- Comb attachment for 16 mm - 20 mm

Charging the Device
To charge the device:
- Use a certified 5V, ≥ 1A USB power supply. The device is IPX4 rated (splash-proof) ?, suitable for charging in moist environments like bathrooms.
- Ensure the USB cable, power adapter, and charging stand (if included) are kept dry.
- A full charge provides approximately 120 minutes ⏱️ of cordless use. A quick 5-minute charge provides enough power for one trim.
- Charging time is approximately 60 minutes ⏱️.
Usage Instructions
Trimming
The multi-groomer can be used for trimming beards and hair. Different comb attachments allow for precise length selection:
- For beard trimming, select the desired comb attachment and adjust the length setting. The device can trim to approximately 0.5 mm without a comb.
- Use the comb attachments to achieve lengths up to 5 mm for detailed styling.
Nose and Ear Trimming
A dedicated attachment is provided for safe and easy trimming of nose and ear hair.
Cleaning
The appliance is waterproof and can be cleaned under the tap ?:

- Rinse the appliance with cold or lukewarm water.
- Use the included cleaning brush ? for thorough cleaning of the blades and attachments.
- Note: Water may drip from the charging socket at the bottom, which is normal and not dangerous.

The built-in rechargeable battery should only be removed by a qualified professional when discarding the appliance. Ensure the appliance is unplugged and the battery is fully discharged before removal. Take safety precautions when handling tools and disposing of the battery. Ensure hands, product, and battery are dry. Prevent terminal contact with metal objects. Do not wrap batteries in foil; tape terminals or place in a plastic bag before disposal.
