CPU Installation
The X13SCD-F supports an Intel Xeon E-2400 series processor with a TDP of up to 95 W in an LGA1700 socket.
CPU Installation Steps:
- Locate the LGA1700 CPU socket on the motherboard.
- Identify the [CPU Key] (a triangular marking on the CPU's corner) and the corresponding [Socket Key] on the socket.
- Align the CPU with the socket keys and gently place the CPU into the socket. Ensure it sits flush without force.
- Close the retention lever to secure the CPU.
Heatsink Installation
Proper heatsink installation is crucial for thermal management.
Heatsink Installation Steps:
- Apply a small amount of thermal grease to the center of the CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS).
- Align the heatsink over the CPU, ensuring the mounting holes on the heatsink align with the motherboard's [mounting holes] around the socket.
- Secure the heatsink using the provided screws (Screw 1, Screw 2, Screw 3, Screw 4), tightening them in a diagonal pattern to ensure even pressure.
Back Panel I/O Connectors
The back panel provides essential connectivity options:
