Safety Cautions

Please read these instructions carefully before installation. If you do not understand these instructions or have doubts about the safety of the installation, assembly, or use of this product, please contact MOUNTUP.

• This product is designed for use in wood stud and solid concrete walls.
• DO NOT install into drywall alone.
• The wall must be capable of supporting five times the weight of the TV and mount combined.
• Do not apply this product to any purpose not indicated by MOUNTUP.
• Incorrect installation may result in product damage or body injury. MOUNTUP shall bear no responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from incorrect installation, incorrect assembly, or misuse.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Select TV Screw Diameter and Length

1-1 Select TV screw diameter: Thread screws by hand into the threaded holes on the back of your TV to select which screw diameter fits your TV (M4, M6, M8).

1-2 Select TV screw length: Ensure screws are not too short or too long. When attaching brackets to the flat screen, be careful not to overtighten screws and be sure that screws do not bottom out in the mounting holes. Use appropriate spacers if needed for round back TVs or extra space.

1-3 Attach the bracket: Attach the brackets (04) to the back of the TV using the selected screws and washers. Ensure brackets are securely fastened before moving on.

• For Flat Back TVs: Use screws M-A, M-C, M-B with spacers M-E if needed.
• For Round Back / Extra Space TVs: Use screws M-A, M-C, M-B, M-D, M-F with spacers M-E if needed.

Step 2A: Wall Plate Installation (Wood Stud)

2A-1 Locate Studs: Use a stud finder, awl, or thin nail to locate and mark the center of the wood studs. Ensure studs are at least 16" (406mm) apart for proper support.

2A-2 Position and Mark: Place the mounting template at your desired height. Line up the holes with your stud center lines. Use the bubble level to ensure the template is level. Mark the pilot hole locations.

2A-3 Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes using a 7/32 in. (5.5 mm) diameter drill bit to a depth of 2 3/4 in. (70 mm) into the center of the studs.

2A-4 Mount Wall Plate: Attach the wall plate (01) to the wall using lag bolts (A). Tighten the lag bolts firmly against the wall plate using a socket wrench. Ensure the arrow on the wall plate points UP.

Step 2B: Wall Plate Installation (Concrete or Brick)

2B-1 Position and Mark: Place the mounting template at your desired height, level it using the bubble level, and mark the pilot hole locations (x4).

2B-2 Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes using a 10 mm diameter drill bit to a depth of 70 mm (2.75 in.).

2B-3 Mount Wall Plate: Install the wall plate (01) using lag bolts (A) and appropriate concrete wall anchors (not included, typically Ø10*61mm). Tighten the lag bolts firmly against the wall plate. Ensure the arrow on the wall plate points UP.

Step 3: Install Front Support and Extensions

3-1 Attach Extensions: Install the arm extensions (03) to the front support (02) using the pre-assembled screws.

3-2 Mount to Wall Plate: Hang the front support assembly (02 with 03) onto the wall plate (01). Secure it using the pre-assembled screws (P1) and washers (P2).

Step 4: Hang TV with Brackets onto Arm Extensions

4-1 Prepare TV Assembly: Loosen the pre-assembled screws (P3) on the arm extensions (03) and save them. Raise the safety locks.

4-2 Hang TV: Carefully lift the TV with attached brackets (04) and hang it onto the arm extensions (03) on the wall plate assembly. Ensure the brackets securely hook onto the extensions.

4-3 Secure TV: Fasten the saved screws (P3) through the brackets (04) into the arm extensions (03) to secure the TV. Press the safety locks down to ensure they engage.

Adjustments

TV Leveling Adjustment (-3°/+3°)

Loosen the two leveling bolts on the rear of the TV plate using the open-end wrench (B). Adjust the TV to the desired level position, then retighten the bolts to secure.

Tool-free Tilting Adjustment (-10°/+5°)

If the TV keeps tilting down, pull the TV to the desired angle and fasten the tilting nuts with the open-end wrench (B). For upward tilt, adjust as needed.
