At a Glance

The diagram illustrates the setup of the eufy WonderLink string lights. The components are numbered as follows:

• 1. Bulbs: The individual light bulbs that make up the string.
• 2. Waterproof Connectors: Used to securely connect multiple light strings together.
• 3. Control Unit (Power Button): This is the main control hub for the lights.
  • Press the button to turn the lights on or cycle through different light effects.
  • Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn the lights off.
• 4. Power Connector: Connects the Control Unit to the Power Adapter.
• 5. Power Adapter: Provides power to the entire lighting system.

Cable lengths are specified: The Power Adapter cable is 0.9 ft (0.3m). The Control Unit cable is 13.4 ft (4.1m). Each Light String measures 98.4 ft (30 m) or 49.2 ft (15m).

Testing the Lights

• Connect the light strings with the power adapter unplugged. Connecting while the adapter is plugged in may prevent the strings from illuminating.
• A maximum of 2 light strings, each containing 15 bulbs, can be connected to a single power adapter.

1. Connect all light strings together. Then, connect them to the control box and the power adapter. Ensure all waterproof caps are securely fastened for each connection and at the end of the last light string.
2. Plug in the power supply to verify that each light string is working correctly.
   • If some light strings do not light up, unplug and replug the power adapter. Confirm the light strings are functioning properly before proceeding to the next step.
   • Refer to the "Troubleshooting" section for guidance on other potential lighting issues.

Setting up the System

1. Download and install the eufy Life app. Sign in or create an account. Ensure your eufy Life app is version 2.11.0 or later to ensure compatibility with this light strip.
2. Follow the instructions provided within the app to add the device and complete the setup process.

Installing your Outdoor Light

The installation process is estimated to take approximately 10 minutes. There are three recommended methods for installing your string lights. If you are installing the lights on the left side of the power outlet, Option 2 is recommended.

Option 1: Install with Hooks

Install a guide wire (recommended diameter: 3mm to 5mm) at your desired location. Attach each bulb to the guide wire using the provided hook.

Option 2: Install with Zip Ties

Install a guide wire (recommended diameter: 3mm to 5mm) at your desired location. Secure the string light cable to the guide wire using zip ties.

Option 3: Install with Screws

Install a guide wire (recommended diameter: 3mm to 5mm) at your desired location. Secure the string light cable to the guide wire using zip ties.

Troubleshooting

1. Cannot connect to Wi-Fi:
   • The 5GHz network is not supported. Please set your router to 2.4GHz and then reset it.
   • Do not skip the Wi-Fi connection steps within the eufy Life app.
   • Verify that you have entered the correct Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password.
   • Try connecting the product to your phone's hotspot.
2. Light doesn't glow at all / Some lights do not glow:
   • If only the first string illuminates after plugging in the power adapter, unplug and replug the power adapter.
   • If some lights remain unlit, disconnect all components and reconnect them, or press the control unit to reset the light string.
   • To reset the lights: Unplug the power supply, reconnect it, and wait for 1 minute. Then, press and hold the control unit for 5 seconds. The white lights will blink on and off five times, indicating a successful reset.

If any selected light effects are not fully displayed, contact the eufy support team for further analysis or potential product replacement.

Important Safety Instructions

• The power adapter has an IP44 rating. An outdoor socket equipped with a waterproof cover is recommended.
• Ensure all waterproof connectors are tightly secured when installing the string light.
• The lamp beads and other internal components of the product are not replaceable. If damage occurs, please contact eufy@support.com for a product replacement.
• Do not allow children to assemble or install this product.
• Avoid installing this product in enclosed spaces or near significant heat sources.
• The recommended operating temperature range for devices and accessories is -20°C to 40°C (-4°F to 104°F).
• Unless specifically stated otherwise in the user guide or instruction manual, do not use this device in environments exceeding the recommended low or high temperatures.
• Unless specifically stated otherwise in the user guide or instruction manual, avoid exposing your device to direct sunlight or excessively wet conditions.
• For pluggable equipment, the socket outlet must be easily accessible.
• Use only the adapter provided by the manufacturer. Using unauthorized adapters may pose a danger and violate the terms of authorized use or the warranty. External dimmers are not compatible with this product.
• Ensure the cables are installed without being overstretched.

Port Descriptions

Default Open Port 1: Wi-Fi (2.4GHz)

Port Description:

1. Upon initial power-on or after a reset, if no Wi-Fi information is configured, the device may enter network pairing mode (e.g., AP/BLE pairing).
2. During normal operation, the device will automatically connect to the router and save the SSID and password.
3. To change Wi-Fi configuration, use the eufy Life app or follow the instructions in the manual to reconfigure the network.

Default Open Port 2: BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)

Port Description:

When the device is not connected to the network, BLE pairing will be enabled, broadcasting Bluetooth pairing signals (or scanning). BLE pairing is automatically disabled once network pairing is successfully completed.
