Battery - Rechargeable Lithium-Ion

Charging:

• Charge the battery completely before initial use.
• The battery does not need to be fully discharged before recharging.
• Charging stops automatically when the battery is fully charged.

Battery Life: Battery life varies depending on:

• “Recovery time” (time the lamp was off).
• Temperature.
• Settings used.
• A full charge is required for maximum burn time.
• Dispose of the device/batteries according to local laws and regulations.

*ANSI FL-1 Standard: Runtime to 10% of initial output.

**Reserve: Additional time the lamp will produce usable light for low-intensity activities (measured to 0.25 Lux @ 4 meters).

Modes

Power Levels:

• Low: 6 lumens, 12m distance, 225h burn time, 0h reserve.
• Medium: 200 lumens, 60m distance, 8h burn time, 0.5h reserve.
• Max: 400 lumens, 100m distance, 4h burn time, 1h reserve.

Other Modes:

• Strobe: Flashing mode.
• S.O.S.: Signal mode.

PowerTap™: Allows instant switching between full and dimmed power.

Dimming: Adjust brightness levels.

Lock/Unlock: Prevents accidental activation.

Troubleshooting

If the headlamp does not work:

• Charge the batteries completely.
• Check that the USB cord is properly inserted.

Warnings

• A responsible adult must supervise use by children under 12 years of age.
• Inspect your headlamp for proper operation before use. For critical situations, carry a second light and sufficient spare batteries.
• Do not stare directly into the beam or shine it directly into others’ eyes. Intense light can damage your eyes. Black Diamond Equipment is not responsible for consequences or damages arising from product use.

Limited Warranty

Black Diamond warrants its lighting products for three years from the purchase date to the original retail buyer, ensuring they are free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper use, or improper maintenance. If a defect is discovered, return the product to the place of purchase or the address provided by Black Diamond. The product will be repaired or replaced at Black Diamond's discretion. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Black Diamond Equipment is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or other types of damages arising out of the use of the product. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied.
