CZONE APP Quick Start Guide
Introduction
This document provides a quick start guide for the CZONE App, designed to work with the Mastervolt Wireless Interface (WI) for controlling and monitoring your boat's electrical systems.
Note: This guide may refer to the Wireless Interface (WI).
Downloading the CZONE App
Search the App Store for the keywords: 'Mastervolt' or 'CZONE'. Download the app to your iPad.
Connecting Your iPad to Wi-Fi
On your iPad, navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi. Select the name of your WI from the list of available networks. Use the password details provided on the label below or on the packaging of your Wireless Interface.
Initial Setup of the CZONE Server Connection
Once the CZONE app is downloaded, the CZONE app icon will appear on your iPad's 'Home' screen. Tap the icon to launch the Czone app.
When you open the CZONE App for the first time, you will see a screen displaying the connected WiFi network and the WI's server IP address. Enter the username and password to allow the app to access the CZONE Server, and tap Connect.
(This information is on the sticker shown below. If you do not have this, please contact your boat builder or dealer). This documentation should be on board before delivery to the customer.
Attach the label with server connection details here.
You will then see the 'Checking password' screen.

The interface displays various system statuses such as Generator 1 (228V, 15A, 50Hz, 3kW), Chargemaster DC (13.8V, -0.9A), Fresh Water Tank (26), Oil Pressure (20%), Fridge Temperature (39°C), and Generator 2 (234V, 8.8A, 50Hz, 2kW). It also shows the status of lights like Aft Saloon Lights, Aft Spot Light, Cockpit Lights, and Courtesy Lights, all set to 'Off'. A detailed illustration of a yacht's interior and exterior is also visible.

Downloading the Wireless Package
If the password is correct, the Wireless Package will be downloaded.

The Homepage
The homepage layout is created by the boat builder to provide control, monitoring, and system information on a single page. Tapping the 'Menu' button on another page will return you to the homepage.

Modes on the Homepage
The modes are used for direct control of operational circuit groups, including lighting, electronics, and pumps. The modes are configured by the boat builder. Documentation about these modes and their functions should be provided with the boat.
Change the operating mode by simply tapping one of the mode buttons listed at the top of the page. A dialog box will appear asking if you are sure? Tap Yes to confirm or No to cancel.
Image Description: Two screenshots showing different modes within the CZONE app. The first shows a general overview of system statuses. The second shows a confirmation dialog box asking 'Are you sure?' with 'Yes' and 'No' options.
Homepage – Monitoring
The scrollable monitoring view displays configured information on DC, AC, tank levels, temperature, and pressure.

Homepage – Control
The scrollable control view lists circuits related to the boat view previously shown.

Controlling Non-Critical Circuits
Non-critical circuits can be controlled directly. The view shows the status of active systems, current, and level, if applicable. The view also shows a user-controllable On/Off switch.
Tapping within a control view, on the side of the button as shown below, will bring up a pop-up window with more information about the control. From here, you can turn the circuit on/off or remove it from your favorites.
Image Description: A screenshot showing the 'Entertainment' control with an 'Off' button. Another screenshot shows the 'Charger Control' with an 'Off' button and a pop-up window displaying more details and options.
Controlling Critical Circuits
To turn on a critical circuit, tap the button as shown below to bring up the circuit control pop-up window. From there, you can safely turn the circuit on and off. The view shows the status of active systems, current, and level, if applicable. If the circuit is an AC circuit, it will indicate whether an AC source is available.
Image Description: A screenshot showing the 'Aft Saloon Lights' control with an 'Off' button. An arrow points to a pop-up window that appears when the button is tapped, allowing for control and status checks.
Adding/Removing Favorites on the Homepage
Pop-up views for individual items in the 'Modes, Control and Monitoring' menu can be removed from the homepage. Tap the '- Favorites' button to remove the circuit from the homepage. To add a favorite, go to Menu > Modes > Control >, tap the circuit to display the pop-up window, and tap '+ Favorites' to add it to your homepage. For the current boat view, controls will be added to the end of the control list.

Homepage – Boat View
The scrollable view shows different projections of the boat, circuit status symbols (blue) indicating connected circuit consumers and alarms, if active. Tapping a circuit status symbol displays the corresponding control popover. The Home Page Control Favorites dynamically display controls for the current boat representation. When the user taps the boat representation, the Control Favorites dynamically display the controls relevant to that boat representation.
Image Description: Two screenshots of the boat view in the CZONE app. The first shows a general boat view with system statuses. The second shows a more detailed view with specific controls highlighted, and an arrow pointing to 'Circuit Status Symbols (blue)'.
Alarm Status Symbols
Alarms can be configured to display on the boat view. The symbol color corresponds to the alarm's urgency. Tapping the alarm displays the alarm pop-up window with further information.
Urgency Colors:
- Critical: Red
- Important: Orange
- Standard: Yellow
- Warning: Blue
Important: Alarms in the CZONE App are only activated when the app is open, not when the app is closed or running in the background. Do not rely on the CZONE App as the sole device for alarm monitoring.

The Menu
Tapping the menu button in the top left corner of the app displays the menu. From here, you have access to the full list of mode, control, and monitoring symbols.
