Painting the Sensors
1) Preparation
For BB-420P/BB-420PL/BB-420PS. Ensure the silicon rubber rings are not installed around the sensor head.

2) Sand the surface
Sand the sensor surface with fine sandpaper (1000 or 1200 grit) for better paint adhesion. Clean the sensor thoroughly to remove sanding dust.
3) Place the sensors
Place the sensors inside the provided paint mask box.

4) Spray and paint
Apply a thin coat of paint. Allow it to dry, then apply another coat for better coverage. For BB-420P/BB-420PL/BB-420PS, paint the plastic rings along with the sensor heads.

5) Apply rubber rings
For BB-420P/BB-420PL/BB-420PS, use white silicon rubber rings for lighter colored vehicles and black rings for darker colored vehicles, matching the vehicle body color.

System Overview
For a Passenger Car
Place the speaker and control box inside the vehicle. Protect them from water damage. The speaker or buzzer sound will indicate the distance to objects. A shorter pitch tone signifies proximity to objects.

Installation
1) Sensor Placement
Proper sensor placement is crucial for both appearance and unit operation. Mount sensors at 90° angles to the ground, avoiding obstructions caused by bumper shape.
2) Measure the height
Measure the bumper height for optimal installation locations. The recommended height is between 20-inch and 32-inch from the ground. Apply paint masking tape over the intended installation area.

3) Mounting height and spacing
Mount sensors as high as possible on the bumper. Use paint masking tape to mark locations according to the diagram for proper spacing. Recommended spacing between sensors A, B, C, and D is 1/8, 1/4, 1/4, 1/4, and 1/8 inches, respectively.

Important!
MUST CHECK BEHIND THE BUMPER FOR ANY METAL BRACKETS OR INTERNAL BRACES BEFORE DRILLING.
4) Drilling the bumper
Ensure the bumper surface and sensors are at 90° to the ground. Clean the hole surface. Start cutting the bumper surface counter-clockwise (A) to prevent paint chipping, then drill the hole clockwise (B).

Sensor Installation Detail
BB-420P sensors must be installed within the bumper's plastic skin, with only the sensor head exposed externally. Bumper removal is necessary for this installation.
