DMP Aqualite Keypads

Classic function meets innovative design

Aqualite™ Keypads

Aqualite's cool blue radiance delivers high-tech design to any residential or commercial installation. The Aqualite™ keypads are loaded with the same flexible features as standard DMP keypads.

ENHANCED OPTIONS

7063A and 7073A keypad proximity readers accept DMP/HID 1300 Series proximity credentials.

Visual Alarm Indicator: In a normal state, both the keypad and logo backlighting remain Blue. During an alarm state, the keypad and logo turn Red. This color change allows persons on-site to instantly recognize an alarm condition.

Features

Additional Features

Keypad Functionality

Versatile Supervised and Unsupervised Operation

When programmed for supervised operation, the keypad occupies its own unique device address on the keypad data bus. Unsupervised operation allows installation of an unlimited number of keypads set to the same device address, offering maximum system operating flexibility.

User-Friendly Menu Functions

The User Menu allows quick browsing through menu options for disarming, arming, silencing alarms, resetting sensors, or displaying events, based on user authority level.

2-Button Panic Keys

The top row of keys can be programmed as 2-button panic keys. Pressing and holding two keys simultaneously sends a panic, non-medical emergency, or fire report to the Central Station.

Image Description: Diagram showing the top row of keys labeled 'Police', 'Emergency', 'Fire' with icons.

False Alarm Features

Features like Cancel/Verify™ and the False Alarm Question prompt users to validate alarms after entering their code. The system can also prompt users to confirm a valid burglar alarm before sending it to the Central Station.

Keypad Shortcut Keys

Keypad shortcut keys simplify operation for arming, checking in, monitoring, exiting, or resetting the system. One-button arming is available for common functions.

End-User Control

Each Aqualite Series keypad provides a User Options menu for adjusting brightness, speaker tone, and volume.

Distinct Sound Patterns

The keypads provide distinct sound patterns for fire, burglary, zone monitor, and prewarn events, helping users identify the event occurring on their system.

Retrofit Any Existing DMP System

Aqualite keypads have the same footprint as existing DMP keypads and mount in current backboxes. They require no special modules or panel upgrades, offering a new look and greater functionality at a fraction of the cost of new equipment.

Multiple-Keypad Savings

Install multiple keypads on the same wire run for cost savings and compatibility.

Options

Keypad Options and Keypad Diagnostics menus are available for system installers and service technicians. These menus allow setting the keypad address, changing the default message, and testing keypad operation, LCD segments, backlighting, keyboard keys, and zones.

Advanced Features and Options

Universal Programming Tool

System installation and programming can be achieved directly from the keypad, eliminating the need for expensive external programmers.

7070A/7073A Four Expansion Zones

The 7070A and 7073A models offer four fully programmable Class B protection zones for fire, burglary, and access control applications.

Zone Type Selection

Keypad zones can be programmed using the same zone types available on the panel, including supervised, unsupervised, night, fire, panic, exit, and emergency operation.

Zone Device Choices

Connect PIRs, door and window contacts, pull stations, sprinkler tamper switches, and silent panic buttons for optimal coverage.

7063A/7073A Codeless Arming and Disarming

The 7063A and 7073A Aqualite keypads feature an on-board DMP proximity reader, allowing users to gain access to a protected area by simply presenting their proximity credentials to the keypad.

7073A Soft-Shunt® Momentary Bypass

The Soft-Shunt® feature provides an entry and exit window on systems with 24-hour perimeter protection. If the door remains open when the timer expires, a zone open/short is sent to the panel for Keypad Zone 2.

Request-to-Exit (REX)

Connect a motion sensing or mechanical device to Zone 3 on the keypad to enable easy user exit from an area. Tripping the zone activates the door strike.

Private Labeling

DMP offers dealers the option to present their company logo on the Aqualite Series keypads. The logo displays on the rubber logo insert and replaces the DMP logo. The backlighted logo glows Blue during normal operation and turns Red in an alarm state.
