Configuration and Communication Flexibility
Flexibility When Ordering: Factory-configurable options allow panels to match system and customer requirements with dialer, cellular, network, and Wi-Fi options. The XT Series™ also allows for adding a cellular module or connecting a wireless receiver and devices at a later date.
Communication Flexibility in Programming: The XT Series enables programming of a primary and backup communication path to two different monitoring center receivers, utilizing proven technology for high-security applications.
Receiver 1 and 2 Operation: Select one or two receivers via network, cellular, or dialer for messages regarding alarms, supervisory/trouble, opening/closing, and test reports. Messages can be sent to both receivers, or one receiver can be designated for alarms and another for trouble messages.
Wireless Capabilities
Onboard Wireless: The XT50 control panel supports up to 48 wireless zones with its integrated 1100 Series wireless receiver, plus an additional 10 onboard hardwired zones for a total of 58 zones. The 900 MHz frequency-hopping, spread spectrum 1100 Series wireless features two-way communication for superior operation, supervision, and battery life, minimizing repetitive signaling and quickly identifying missing transmitters.
1100 Series Wireless Add-On: Add any 1100 Series wireless receiver for up to 32 wireless transmitters on the XT30.
Wireless Keypads: The 9000 Series and 9800 Series wireless keypads are fully functioning, supervised keypads offering installation flexibility. They include a built-in proximity reader for codeless arming and disarming.
Arming and System Management
Simple Arming: XT Series panels provide multiple arming configurations: Area arming (six separate areas), All/Perimeter arming (perimeter and interior areas), or Home/Sleep/Away arming (perimeter, interior, and bedroom areas). Users can arm the perimeter and interior at night while leaving the bedroom area disarmed.
Home/Sleep/Away: For residential applications, users can select Home (perimeter armed, interior movement allowed), Sleep (perimeter and specified interior areas armed, bedroom sensors disarmed), or Away (all system elements armed) with a single button press.
All/Perimeter: For business applications, users can select All to arm the entire system upon leaving, or Perimeter to arm exterior sensors while allowing interior movement.
Fast Programming: Enables installers to quickly input programming data, allowing technicians to enter information without navigating through all programming menus for basic configurations.
Built-in Programmer: An internal English-text programmer allows technicians to easily program and test the panel from any keypad, with a lockout code restricting access.
Programmable Outputs: Four open collector outputs are available for remote control and annunciation applications (50 mA maximum each). The Model 860 Relay Output Module provides four Form C relay contacts.
Remote Programming: Panels can be remotely programmed using DMP Remote Link software, allowing for programming uploads, changes, and downloads.
Attrition Detection™: Provides advance warning of potential customer cancellations by notifying when there is no system activity for a selected number of days.
Custom Actions: Allows users to program combined sequences of actions for controlling lights, locks, thermostats, and Z-Wave devices based on specific Favorites, times, or zone trips.
1100T Wireless Translator: Facilitates upgrades of non-DMP systems with one-way, low-frequency wireless transmitters (compatible with Interlogix, Honeywell 5800, 2GIG, and DSC). It allows for upgrading systems to DMP panels, receivers, and software management tools.
Advanced Features and Applications
1100T Compatibility: The 1100T is compatible with life safety devices and certified for commercial and residential smoke detection.
Virtual Keypad App: Provides users with remote access to system functions via cellular or internet connection. Dealers can brand the app with their company logo. Features include checking system status, arming/disarming, controlling outputs, adjusting lighting/thermostats/locks, remote video viewing (up to six cameras), and managing system schedules.
VirtualKeypad.com: Allows users to access security systems via a web portal using their logins and system user codes.
Z-Wave® Support: Supports up to 140 Z-Wave devices via the 738Zplus module for mobile control of lights, locks, and thermostats. Up to 20 Favorites can be programmed for single-command responses.
Wi-Fi Communication: The optional 763 Wi-Fi Interface Module enables system communication over Wi-Fi.
7800/9800 Graphic Keypad: Offers touchscreen control with a 5-inch, full-color display in a slim profile.
False Alarm Features: Includes Cancel/Verify™ and False Alarm Question prompts to reduce false alarms by requiring user validation of alarm events.
Keypad Shortcut Keys: Provide one-button arming and quick access to common functions like checking in, monitoring, exiting, or resetting the system.
User Codes: XT30 supports up to 30 user codes; XT50 supports up to 99 user codes. Codes can be assigned Standard or Master Authority levels. The XT50 also supports scheduled and limited users.
Cross Zoning: A false-alarm-reduction feature that requires multiple zones to fault within a programmable time (4-250 seconds) to report an alarm, preventing single-zone faults from triggering a full alarm.
Event Memory: XT30 logs up to 100 events; XT50 logs up to 200 events. Users can view stored events such as openings, closings, zone events, and user code changes.
Zone Inactivity: Zone Activity Hours feature alerts the monitoring center if no activity is detected within programmed hours, useful for monitoring individuals living alone or aging adults.
Zone Audit: Alerts when a sensor fails to trip within a specified number of days, helping to identify potential sensor issues or bypassed faults.
Retail Applications: Features like Late to Open/Early to Close and Traffic Count provide notifications for facility opening/closing times and daily zone trip tallies.
Fully Supervised: Ensures full reporting of system status, including zones, areas, and users, with complete supervision of the communication path.
EASYconnect Technology: Enables control panels to establish outbound connections to SecureCom™ over Wi-Fi for effortless installation without router programming.
