Special Functions
Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) Detection
- The NCV function detects AC voltage without direct contact with the conductor.
- When AC voltage is detected, the meter will beep, and the display will show "EF".
- The sensitivity is adjustable, indicated by the frequency of the beeps.
- This function provides a convenient and safe way to check for voltage presence.
Relative Value (REL) Function
- The REL button allows setting a reference value for measurements.
- Subsequent readings are displayed relative to this set reference value.
- Press the REL button again to exit REL mode.
- Press and hold the REL button for 2 seconds to clear the reference value.
Operating Instructions
General Operation
- Select the desired measurement function and range using the function dial.
- Connect the test leads to the appropriate jacks (COM and the relevant measurement jack).
- Perform the measurement.
NCV Detection Operation
- Select the NCV function using the dial or button.
