Assembly Guide
This guide provides instructions for assembling the MAULstandard pin board. The included mounting hardware is intended for use on solid wall surfaces.
Mounting Bracket Placement
The mounting brackets can be attached to the wall in two configurations:
- Angled Mounting (Diagram A): Brackets are affixed to the wall at a 30-degree angle. A vertical clearance of 25 mm is maintained from the top edge of the board to the bracket's attachment point.
- Vertical Mounting (Diagram B): Brackets are affixed vertically. A vertical clearance of 24 mm is maintained from the top edge of the board to the bracket's attachment point.
General Installation Details
Ensure a minimum horizontal distance of 70 mm from the sides of the pin board to the wall mounting points.
Drilling and Fastening:
- Required drill hole sizes for mounting include Ø 3.5 mm and Ø 2.5 mm for the smaller screws (Ø 4 x 30 mm), and Ø 8 mm and Ø 6 mm for the larger screws (Ø 6 x 30 mm) and wall plugs.
- Use the appropriate screws and wall plugs for your specific wall type.
Important Safety Information
The enclosed mounting materials are exclusively for assembly on solid and firm surfaces such as solid masonry, full bricks, concrete, or solid wood walls with a wall covering of no more than 3 mm thickness. It is crucial to verify the suitability of the wall/ceiling construction and the mounting materials to withstand the forces involved. Improper assembly can pose a risk to the user. Assembly should only be performed by qualified personnel. For other or unknown wall surfaces, consult a specialist.
