Before First Use
Before using the pressure cooker for the first time, clean all parts according to the cleaning instructions. Ensure all components are dry before assembly.
Instructions for Use
Operating Instructions
The pressure cooker features various pre-set cooking functions. Key operational elements include:
- Control Panel: Features buttons for specific food types such as SOUP, VEGETABLES, CANNING, and START.
- KEEP WARM/CANCEL Key: Used to initiate or cancel cooking cycles, and to control audible alerts.
- Sound ON/OFF: Press and hold the "KEEP WARM/CANCEL" Key for 3 seconds to turn sound OFF. Press and hold the "KEEP WARM/CANCEL" Key for 3 seconds to turn sound ON.
- Condensation Cup: A clear plastic cup designed to collect condensation. It attaches to the back of the pressure cooker. Refer to page 8 of the original document for attachment instructions.
When selecting a cooking function (e.g., SOUP), the unit will begin heating and building pressure. The display will show a countdown timer once sufficient pressure is reached, indicating the start of the cooking cycle. The pressurizing process can take between 5 to 40 minutes, depending on the quantity and weight of the food.
Note: Evaporation of liquid during pressurizing is normal. It is recommended to add back any evaporated liquid to ensure proper function.

Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues and their solutions:
Problem | Possible Reason | Solution |

1. Is the Pressure Limiting Valve (4) on the lid (7) supposed to be loose? | Nothing is wrong. Ensure the Pressure Limiting Valve (4) is set to Airtight and the Lid (7) is locked securely. The unit will start heating and building pressure. The display will show a countdown timer once sufficient pressure is reached. Pressurizing can take 5-40 minutes. | |
2. When I choose a Menu Button (ex: SOUP), nothing happens? What’s wrong? | See solution for Problem 1. Note that some liquid may evaporate during pressurizing; add back evaporated liquid to ensure proper function. | |
8. What is the clear plastic part that came with my pressure cooker? | It is the Condensation Cup. Attach it to the back of the pressure cooker as per instructions. | |

Limited Warranty
HOME EASY LTD warrants to the original consumer or purchaser that this Geek Chef Pressure Cooker is free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of One (1) year from the date of purchase.
If any such defect is discovered within the warranty period, HOME EASY LTD, at its discretion, will repair or replace the Product at no cost. This limited warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and effective only when used in the United States.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
This limited warranty does not apply to:
- Failures during power failures, interruptions, or inadequate electrical service.
- Damage caused by transportation or handling.
- Damage caused by accident, vermin, lightning, winds, fire, floods, or acts of God.
- Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, or improper installation, repair, or maintenance (including use of external devices altering voltage/frequency).
- Unauthorized product modification, repair by unauthorized centers, or use of non-approved replacement parts.
- Abnormal cleaning and maintenance not described in the user's manual.
- Use of incompatible accessories or components.
The cost of repair or replacement under these excluded circumstances shall be borne by the consumer.
