Safety Introductions

Important Safety Instructions

  1. The Inner Pot should be washed before first use.
  2. Always check the Anti-blockage Vent for clogs before use.
  3. To prevent injury and scald, do not open the lid by force when in use.
  4. Do not touch the lid or any of the stainless steel surface when in use, as these surfaces will become hot during operation.
  5. Before removing the cooker, allow the cooker and parts to cool down to a safe temperature.
  6. Do not lift the pressure cooker by the lid handle; always use the Carry Handle.
  7. Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
  8. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or cooker in water or any other liquids to avoid electrical shock or damaging the cooker.
  9. Do not place the cooker on an unstable surface. Do not use on newspaper, foam, or any other material that may block the exhaust at the bottom.
  10. Do not use the pressure cooker near or under surfaces that are heat sensitive or those that may be damaged by steam.
  11. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children to avoid injury to themselves or others.
  12. Keep the cooker out of reach from children or someone who is physically, sensorially, or mentally dysfunctional.
  13. Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If your cooker experiences any malfunctions or has been damaged in any way, do not attempt to use it.
  14. Use of any accessories that are not intended for this product may damage the unit, which is subject to void of warranty.
  15. Do not overfill the Inner Pot. Overfilling may result in generating more pressure or clogging the exhaust pipe. If the food is easy to expand, such as rice, beans, and grains, it should not exceed the 3/5 mark of the pot. On the other hand, it must exceed the 1/5 mark of the pot each time for good performance.

Product Components

Unit Drawings Description

The pressure cooker unit is depicted with its main components labeled. It features a main body, a lid, a control panel, and a power cord. Accessories like silicone mitts, a measuring cup, and a rice spoon are also shown.

Components List

  1. Inner Pot
  2. Condensation Cup
  3. Control Panel
  4. Heating Element
  5. Sealing Ring
  6. Aluminum Cover Plate

The control panel features buttons for various functions including ON/OFF, Cancel, Cook Mode selection (Egg, Non-Veg, Pulav/Biryani, Rice, Dal/Channa, Sambar/Gravy, Pongal/Kitchadi, Saute, Manual), Delay Timer, and adjustment buttons (+/-). It also indicates cooking modes like Quick, Medium, and Normal.

How To Use

Before First Use

  1. Remove all packaging materials such as cardboard, plastics, or styrofoam.
  2. Clean all parts by wiping with a soft damp cloth or sponge and dry thoroughly.
  3. Clean the Inner Pot with warm soapy water. Rinse and towel dry before placing it into the cooker.

Operating Instruction

  1. Open the lid by turning it clockwise until the arrow aligns with the "Unlocked" indicator.
  2. Add ingredients into the inner pot.
  3. Close the lid by turning it on the pressure cooker so that the arrow aligns with the "Locked" indicator.
  4. With the lid securely locked, select the button for the desired cooking function. The cooker offers default times for each function and three cook modes: "Quick", "Medium", and "Normal". Cooking time can be adjusted using the "+" or "-" buttons. Pressure can be switched between "High" and "Low" by long-pressing the "Pressure" button for 3 seconds.
  5. Once settings are confirmed, the cooker will automatically start working, and the timer will begin to count down. During initial cooking, it is normal for air to be released from the Float Valve for about 10-20 seconds. After the cold air is expelled, the interior air temperature increases, and the Float Valve will close.

When cooking is complete, the cooker will beep and automatically switch to keep warm mode. To cancel before the timer finishes, press the "Cancel" button.

Before opening the lid, pressure must be released manually by sliding the Pressure Regulator Protection to its release position. Be cautious as hot steam will be released from the Anti-blockage Vent.

Remove the lid by twisting it using the lid handle. The lid will not open unless all pressure has been released. Do not force the lid open to avoid injury or scalds. If it does not open freely, pressure is still inside the cooker.

How To Use Saute Function

This function allows cooking over high heat without the lid. To saute meats or vegetables before pressure cooking:

  1. Remove the lid from the cooker.
  2. Add oil or butter as directed in your recipe, then place ingredients into the Inner Pot.
  3. Select the "Saute" function. Set the desired temperature or time, then press the "Start" button.
  4. Stir or turn food as needed until the desired color and consistency is reached.
  5. When sauteing is complete, the cooker will beep and automatically turn to keep warm. To cancel, press the "Cancel" button.

How To Use Delay Timer

This feature allows programming the cooker to start cooking at a later time, up to 24 hours in advance. It is not recommended for foods that may spoil easily. To set a delay, select "Delay Timer", choose the desired delay time (e.g., "03:00" for 3 hours), and then select the cooking function as usual.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Basic Cleaning

  1. Always ensure the cooker is unplugged, depressurized, and completely cooled down before dismantling.
  2. Wash the inner pot, condensation cup, and lid in hot water with dish soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly. To clean the condensation cup, remove it from the side of the cooker, clean, dry, and then reattach it.
