Important Notice
- For optimal performance, use the original power adapter. If unavailable, a safety-certified 5V/2A USB adapter and cable can be used. Do not use higher voltages (e.g., 9V or 12V).
- iSG manages smart home devices on the same Wi-Fi network (WLAN). Devices on different networks will not be discovered.
- While a remote control is provided for basic navigation, a USB mouse is required for detailed device information.
- Early batch iSG products with Zigbee functionality require a separate Zigbee to USB dongle (included). Ensure it remains plugged in when using Zigbee devices.
Getting Started: Server Selection and Sign-In
Server Selection
Choose the server that corresponds to your region:
- China Server: For users in mainland China only.
- European Server: For users in European Union countries complying with GDPR regulations.
- American Server: For users in all other countries.
Sign-In Options
There are two ways to sign in to iSG:
- Manually Input: Enter your LinknLink account credentials (username and password).
- Scan QR Code: Use the LinknLink app to scan the QR code displayed on the screen. Access this via the app's top right corner "+" > "Scan QR Code".
If you do not have a LinknLink account, you can sign up directly within the iSG app or the LinknLink app.
Note: Ensure your device is connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) before proceeding. Tap the Wi-Fi disconnected icon in the top right corner to access system settings if needed. Internet access is only required for login and adding devices; iSG can operate locally once configured.
Adding Devices
From the iSG main menu, navigate to the "Devices" section. In the top right corner, click the [plus icon] to add a new device.
Adding Wi-Fi Devices
Select "Wi-Fi" to add devices connected via Wi-Fi using built-in protocols. Supported protocols include LinknLink, Tuya, and BroadLink.
- LinknLink or BroadLink Devices: First, add these devices within the LinknLink app (which also supports BroadLink). Then, in the iSG app, click the specific brand to discover them.
- Tuya Devices: No separate app is needed for Tuya / Smart Life devices; set them up directly within the iSG app. Tuya / Smart Life devices support Wi-Fi Only, Bluetooth + Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi AP setup methods. Refer to the original product manual for specific instructions. If a Tuya device is discoverable in the Tuya App, it's likely using Bluetooth setup.
- If using a hub, enter here to discover its sub-devices.
Adding Zigbee Devices
Select "zigbee" to directly add Zigbee 3.0 compatible devices. Refer to the original product manual for specific steps on resetting Zigbee devices.
Note: While iSG supports many Zigbee devices, some custom implementations (e.g., Aqara) may cause setup difficulties. Verify Zigbee 3.0 certification. If a device lacks certification, consider adding a compliant Zigbee hub and the device in Home Assistant, then discover it in iSG.
Adding Matter Devices
Select "Matter" to directly add Matter™ compatible devices. Currently, only Matter devices connecting over Wi-Fi are supported.
Note: Matter over Wi-Fi requires Bluetooth for initial setup. Keep Bluetooth enabled on your iSG and ensure the device is close to the iSG. Since iSG lacks a camera, you will need to manually enter the setup code displayed on the product.
Adding Devices from Home Assistant
Select "Home Assistant" to import devices already set up in Home Assistant. A list of your existing devices will appear for easy addition.
Note: To access the built-in Home Assistant console, go to Settings > Home Assistant. Default credentials are username: admin, password: admin. The console can also be accessed via a browser at http://deviceip:8123. After adding devices in Home Assistant, return to the iSG interface and select "Home Assistant" from the "Add Device" page to import them.
Managing Devices
Once devices are added, manage them in several ways:
- Filter by type: Click categories at the top to view specific device types.
- View by room: Click on a room to see only devices located there.
- Control or view details: Simply click on the device.
- Rename or delete: Click the [three dots menu], then "Property" to rename or delete the device.
Creating Groups
From the iSG main menu, navigate to the "Groups" section. In the top right corner, click the [plus icon] to create a group.
Choose a type and select the devices under this type to create a group. You can click the group icon to control it.
Brands
From the iSG main menu, navigate to the "Brands" section. In the top right corner, click the [plus icon].
Add the brands of smart products you own. Your products will then be automatically categorized by brand, displaying the number of devices associated with each.
Automations
From the iSG main menu, navigate to the "Automations" section. In the top right corner, click the [plus icon] to add a new automation.
Click the [plus icon] to add triggers and actions. You can choose devices or groups to perform actions when a trigger activates. Optionally, set conditions like specific time ranges.
Use the switch next to each automation to enable or disable it. Access detailed settings by clicking on an automation to edit its behavior or remove it.
Home Page Cards
From the iSG main menu, navigate to the "Home" section. In the top right corner, click the [edit icon]. You can organize the cards displayed on the homepage.
Devices and services on the left are not favorited; those on the right are your favorites and will appear on the homepage.
Click the [star icon] next to devices or services on the left to add them to your favorites (marked as [filled star icon]). They will then be displayed on the homepage. Close the window to return.
You can hold down a card for 1 second and drag it to rearrange the order.

Navigate to the "Settings" section for system configurations.
HomeKit
Access the HomeKit Bridge page. Using an iPhone or iPad, scan the displayed QR code to easily add compatible devices to your Apple Home for local control.
Note: If devices are missing after adding them via the iSG HomeKit bridge, navigate to Home Assistant > Settings > Devices & services > HomeKit Devices for detailed configurations.
Home Assistant
For devices not natively supported by iSG, launch Home Assistant to integrate them. Once added in Home Assistant, navigate to the "Devices" section within iSG to see them available for management.

Manage spaces (rooms) here to edit or create them.
System Settings
- Native System Settings: Launch your device's native system settings by clicking here.
- Time Zone: Access the native time zone settings.
- Log: If an unexpected iSG crash or restart occurs, click "Click to Report" to submit logs.
- Device Auto-Reboot: For optimal performance, enable "Device Auto-Reboot." This feature automatically reboots iSG at a specific time daily.
Account
Edit your name, home name, and location, or sign out your account.
Backup
Back up your settings for easy migration to a new iSG. Import them during the sign-in process on your new device.
Firmware Update
When a new firmware update (APK file) is available, download it and copy it to the root directory of a USB flash drive. Insert the USB drive into your iSG. iSG will detect the update, and a button will appear to initiate the process.
Note: Firmware updates can only be performed using a USB flash drive, not an SD card.
Syncing with App
All devices added to iSG automatically appear in the "iSG" tab of the LinknLink app. Benefits of using the mobile app include:
- Status synchronization between apps.
- Remote control (via cloud service) even when away from home.
- Renaming devices in the LinknLink app's "iSG" tab, which reflects in iSG.
- Setting up Routines (Automations) directly in the app, synchronized with iSG for a unified smart home experience.
Third-Party Services
For voice control or creating automations with Alexa and Google Home, follow the instructions to link your iSG devices.
