Amazon Global Logistics: Ship to Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD)

Service Overview

Ship to Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD) is a streamlined service designed for cross-border transportation, storage, and automatic replenishment of goods into Amazon fulfillment centers (FCs) from China to the US. Amazon Global Logistics manages the entire process, from shipment pickup at origin to delivery at AWD facilities in the US. This door-to-door service includes cross-border ocean transportation, storage, customs clearance, and auto-replenishment to destinations.

For more information, please contact us.

Key AWD Benefits

Transport and replenish your Standard Ocean FCL (full container load) or LCL (less than container load) shipments from origin to an AWD facility in the US.

How does Ship to AWD work?

Amazon monitors inventory levels for your SKUs in the distribution centers, providing end-to-end inventory status visibility. The service eliminates the need to manage multiple logistics service providers. When total supply (on-hand and to-arrive inventory) falls below optimal levels, Amazon automatically replenishes inventory at the right FCs in the correct quantities. This process aims to increase potential for same-day and next-day delivery speeds for FBA and Multi-Channel Fulfillment orders, ultimately driving an increase in unit sales.
