Key AWD Benefits
Transport and replenish your Standard Ocean FCL (full container load) or LCL (less than container load) shipments from origin to an AWD facility in the US.
- Low-cost storage: Enjoy simple, pay-as-you-go pricing with no peak season surcharges. Includes FBA inbound placement services and offers additional savings with auto-replenishment and Amazon managed services.
- Auto-replenishment: Automatically replenish inventory from AWD to FBA, saving costs, effort, and time while maintaining optimal FBA inventory levels. Increase FBA capacity during peak times as inventory auto-replenished from AWD is not subject to FBA limits. Set custom restock levels for each product (SKU) based on sales patterns, with the option for manual replenishment.
- Streamline operations: Seamlessly integrate with the FBA network for optimized inventory flow, saving time and resources with intuitive and simplified workflows.
- Multi-channel distribution: Utilize a single pool of inventory to simplify inventory management and reduce safety stock needs. Expand to off-Amazon sales channels quickly and easily.
How does Ship to AWD work?
Amazon monitors inventory levels for your SKUs in the distribution centers, providing end-to-end inventory status visibility. The service eliminates the need to manage multiple logistics service providers. When total supply (on-hand and to-arrive inventory) falls below optimal levels, Amazon automatically replenishes inventory at the right FCs in the correct quantities. This process aims to increase potential for same-day and next-day delivery speeds for FBA and Multi-Channel Fulfillment orders, ultimately driving an increase in unit sales.
