Changing the Modes on the Spa
For Balboa VS300 Equipment
Below, you will find the three operating modes of your spa that affect the heating and therefore the energy consumption.
Mode is changed by pressing “WARM“ then “LIGHT“.
Standard Mode
It maintains set temperature. Code "ST" will be displayed momentarily when you switch into Standard Mode.
Economy Mode
It heats the spa to the set temperature only during filter cycles. Code "EC" will display when water temp is not current, and will alternate with water temp when the pump is running.
Sleep Mode
It heats the spa to within 10°C (20°F) of the set temperature only during filter cycles. Code "SL” will display when water temp is not current, and will alternate with water temp when the pump is running.
Spa Control Panel Description
The spa control panel, branded "BALBOA.", features a digital display showing "87". Below the display are illuminated buttons labeled: "JETS", "LIGHT", "COOL", and "WARM".
