Key Features and Differences

Both the Shelly 1PM Gen4 and Shelly 2PM Gen4 offer robust connectivity options, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Zigbee, and are Matter Certified. They operate on a wide power supply range (110-240 V~ / 24-30 V-) and feature conductor cross-sections of 0.2 to 2.5 mm².

The primary distinction lies in their channel configuration and current handling. The Shelly 1PM Gen4 is a single-channel device suitable for measuring power and controlling lights or appliances. In contrast, the Shelly 2PM Gen4 provides two channels, each capable of handling 10A (with a total peak of 18A), making it ideal for controlling two separate devices or for roller shutter applications.

Both models include essential protections such as overvoltage, overheating, overcurrent, and overpower protection. The Shelly 2PM Gen4 also supports roller shutter functions, which the 1PM Gen4 does not.
