Battery Safety Precautions
- Install batteries according to polarity (+ and -) markings. Incorrect installation can cause malfunction or battery leakage.
- Do not mix new and used batteries, or batteries of different types (e.g., alkaline, carbon-zinc). Mixed use can reduce performance and increase the risk of leakage.
- Replace depleted batteries promptly. Recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. Do not dispose of them in household waste.
- In case of electrolyte leakage, immediately remove the batteries from the remote control and keep them away from the device. If leakage contacts skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water and consult a doctor if necessary.
Usage
First-time Use
- Remove all packaging and follow the steps below.
- Remove the remote control and user manual from the water tank.
- Remove the protective packaging from the water pump.
- Place the main unit onto the water tank. (The water pump does not need to be fixed to the bottom of the tank.)
- Position the unit on a flat surface at least 30 cm from walls. Use a waterproof mat underneath to prevent overflow.
Refilling the Water Tank
There are two methods for adding water:
- Top Refill: Do not add water through the mist nozzle.
- Bottom Refill: Do not fill beyond the MAX line.
Notes:
- Use purified or distilled water to minimize white dust buildup.
- Place a waterproof mat under the humidifier in case of overflow.
- Refill only with room temperature water. Never use hot water, boiling water, or other liquids.
- Avoid pouring water through the mist outlet to prevent damage to internal components and malfunction.
- Never add essential oils directly into the water tank to avoid damaging components.
White Dust (Mineral Residue)
What is white dust? White dust (mineral residue) is a powdery buildup that may appear near your humidifier. It comes from minerals (calcium, magnesium) in the water, common in hard water areas. The harder the water, the more visible these deposits.
Origin of the phenomenon: The humidifier does not create these residues; it simply releases minerals naturally present in the water. Using distilled water significantly reduces or eliminates these deposits. This process is natural and does not indicate a malfunction.
Solution: Demineralization Cartridge
- Recommended replacement: Every 30-40 refills.
- More frequently if you have very hard water.
- Prefer distilled water if deposits persist.
- Purchase cartridges at: lacidoll.com

Adding Essential Oils
- Locate & Remove: Remove the aroma diffuser tray from the back of the humidifier.
- Insert Pad: Place an aroma pad into the tray.
- Add Oil: Pour 2-5 drops of essential oil directly onto the pad.
- Reinstall: Securely place the tray back into position.
- Activate: Turn on the humidifier to diffuse the fragrance.
Important Notes:
- Use only the provided pad. Never pour oils directly into the tray, tank, or other components.
- Without a pad? Use a sponge of similar size or a folded paper towel as a substitute.
- Fragrance Intensity: This humidifier is not a dedicated diffuser; the fragrance will be subtle.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Preparation
- Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Work on a waterproof surface.
To Do
- Clean surfaces with a cleaning cloth.
- Regularly clear the mist nozzle with a soft cloth.
- Change water frequently to prevent bacteria.
- For storage: empty and dry completely.
To Avoid
- Never immerse the main unit.
- Avoid contact between water and the air inlet.
- Do not use detergents, solvents, or chemical products.
Mold Prevention
Mold spores are naturally present in water and air. They multiply rapidly if water stagnates for more than 48 hours.
- Use distilled/demineralized water.
- Completely dry the tank between uses.
- Weekly cleaning with white vinegar.
1. Regular Cleaning
- Remove the main unit from the water tank and empty any residual water.
- Clean the cover, water tank base, and water tank with a cleaning cloth or brush.
- Gently clean the inside of the chamber with a soft brush, preventing water from entering the air outlet.
- Clean the water pump with a soft nylon brush and use a long brush for the silicone tube.
Note: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly or storage.
2. Descaling
Allow 20-30 minutes.
- Pour white vinegar into the chamber and tank.
- Soak the pump and silicone tube in white vinegar.
- Let the solution sit for 20-30 minutes.
- Scrub away deposits with a soft cloth or brush.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Important Notes:
- Do not let water enter the air outlet.
- Avoid scrubbing the ultrasonic disk too hard.
- Vinegar may leave an odor; ventilate and dry thoroughly before reuse.
- Alternative: Citric acid (follow product instructions).
3. Cleaning the Aroma Diffuser
- Remove the aroma diffuser tray from the back of the humidifier.
- Rinse the tray and pad with water, then dry them before reassembly.
Note: If the aroma pad remains stiff after cleaning, replace it. If missing, use a similar-sized sponge or folded absorbent paper.
4. Pump Maintenance & Replacement
If the water pump is not functioning, first try reinstalling it.
- Disconnect: Turn the nut counter-clockwise. Firmly pull the cable near the connector.
- Reconnect: Align and insert the connector. Tighten the nut clockwise.
Damaged pump? Purchase a replacement at: lacidoll.com. Persistent problem? Contact customer service.
5. Seasonal Storage
- Clean the unit as indicated above.
- Completely dry all parts.
- Store in a cool, dry place.

Insufficient Humidification
- Adjust Mist: Increase the mist output.
- Room Size: If the room is too large, the unit may be ineffective. Consider a more powerful model.
- Ambient Humidity: If the air is very dry, humidification will take longer.
Inaccurate Humidity Reading
- Normal Margin: A 5-10% difference between the display and actual humidity is normal.
- Check Sensor: Clean the sensor of any dust or moisture.
- Placement: Avoid corners and walls. Ensure good air circulation.
- Significant Error? If the deviation is too large, contact support.
Water Leaks
- Inspect Tank: Check for cracks. Never fill beyond the MAX line.
- Stability: Place on a perfectly level surface.
Water Around the Unit
- Humidity Settings: Reduce the level if it is too high. Use the provided tube or reduce mist output. For small spaces, use a waterproof mat.
- Placement: Flat and stable surface. Maintain 30 cm from walls/furniture for good air circulation.
- Verification: Ensure correct tank assembly. Always respect the MAX level.
Mineral Deposits / Unpleasant Odors
- Regular Cleaning: Frequently clean the tank and main unit.
- White Vinegar: Soak affected parts in distilled white vinegar for 20-30 minutes, then rinse.
- Check Aroma Pad: If using essential oils, clean/replace the diffuser pad regularly. Refer to 'Cleaning the Aroma Diffuser' (Page 17) for details.
Mist or White Dust
- Water Quality: Use distilled water instead of tap water with high mineral content.
- Maintenance: Regularly clean the tank and base to remove deposits. Refer to 'White Dust' (Page 13) for details.
Furnace Problems
- White Dust: Risk to Filters Minerals in tap water can turn into white dust and clog furnace air filters.
- Prevention: Use only distilled water. Replace the filter monthly. Clean the exterior weekly.
Abnormal Noises
A slight noise during refilling is normal. For excessive noises, contact technical support.
