The LED display shows humidity level, timer settings, and mist output. The control panel includes buttons for:

  • Mist Level: Adjusts mist output (1, 2, 3, Turbo).
  • Power (ON/OFF): Turns the humidifier on or off. The icon ? flashes 5 times if the tank is empty, and the unit shuts off automatically.
  • Timer: Set misting duration (1-12 hours). The TIMER/h icon will light up. Press multiple times to cancel or reset the timer until the icon turns off. The timer is off by default.
  • Interval Mist / Night Light: Cycle through interval mist modes (P1: 30s mist/30s pause, P2: 60s mist/60s pause, P3: 90s mist/90s pause). Hold for 3 seconds to turn the night light on or off.
  • Sleep Mode: Press to activate or deactivate sleep mode. The screen dims, and the ? icon lights up. Sleep mode is off by default.
  • Target Humidity: Set desired humidity level (40%-90%). The HUMIDITY icon lights up. Press multiple times to cancel or reset the target humidity until the icon turns off. The target humidity function is off by default. A comfortable humidity level is between 40% and 60%. The unit will automatically stop misting when the target is reached and resume when the level drops.

Note: If there is water around the humidifier, it may indicate excessive humidity. Reduce mist level to prevent condensation. If the humidifier has been stored for a long time, the sensor may briefly display a 'water shortage' warning even if the tank is full. Restart the unit 2-3 times to reset the sensor.

Remote Control

The remote control allows you to operate the humidifier from a distance. It includes buttons for:

  • Timer
  • Target Humidity
  • Increase Mist
  • Decrease Mist
  • Power (ON/OFF)
  • Sleep Mode
  • Night Light
  • Interval Mist (P1, P2, P3)

Important: For safety during transport, the remote control does not include batteries. Please install AAA 1.5V batteries before use.

Battery Safety Instructions:

  • Install batteries strictly according to polarity (+ and -) markings.
  • Incorrect installation may cause malfunction or battery leakage.
  • Do not mix new and used batteries, or batteries of different types (e.g., alkaline, carbon-zinc). Mixed use can reduce performance and increase leakage risk.
  • Replace depleted batteries promptly. Recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. Do not dispose of them in household waste.
  • In case of electrolyte leakage, immediately remove batteries from the remote and keep them away from the unit. If leakage contacts skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water and consult a doctor if necessary.

Operation

First Use

  1. Remove all packaging, the tube, remote control, and user manual from the water tank.
  2. Remove the protective packaging from the water pump.
  3. Place the main unit onto the water tank. The water pump does not need to be fixed to the bottom of the tank.
  4. Position the unit on a flat surface at least 30 cm from walls. Use a waterproof mat underneath to prevent overflow.

Extension Tube

To increase the height or range of the mist, install the provided extension tube:

  1. Remove the mist nozzle.
  2. Place the extension tube onto the mist outlet.
  3. Attach the mist nozzle to the end of the extension tube.

Note: The extension tube should rest loosely on the mist outlet to allow easy adjustment of mist direction. If water droplets form on the tube's edge, it may indicate high ambient humidity. Reduce humidity level or mist output.

Refilling Water

There are two methods for adding water:

  • Top Refill: Do not add water through the mist nozzle.
  • Bottom Refill: Do not fill beyond the MAX line.

Note:

  • Use purified or distilled water to minimize white dust buildup.
  • Place a waterproof mat under the humidifier in case of overflow.
  • Refill only with room temperature water - never use hot water, boiling water, or other liquids.
  • Avoid pouring water into the mist outlet to prevent damage to internal components and malfunction.
  • Never add essential oils directly into the water tank to avoid damaging components.

White Dust (Mineral Residue)

What is White Dust?

White dust (mineral residue) is a powdery buildup that may appear near your humidifier. It comes from the minerals (calcium, magnesium) naturally present in water, especially in hard water areas. The harder the water, the more visible these deposits.

Origin of the Phenomenon:

The humidifier does not create these residues; it simply releases the minerals naturally present in the water. Using distilled water significantly reduces or eliminates these deposits. This process is natural and does not indicate a malfunction.

Solution: Demineralization Cartridge

  • Recommended replacement: Every 30 to 40 refills.
  • More frequently in case of very hard water.
  • Prefer distilled water if deposits persist.
  • Purchase cartridges at: lacidoll.com

Adding Essential Oils

  1. Locate & Remove: Remove the aroma diffuser tray.
  2. Insert Pad: Place an aroma pad into the tray.
  3. Add Oil: Pour 2-5 drops of essential oil directly onto the pad.
  4. Reinstall: Securely place the tray back.
  5. Activate: Turn on the humidifier to diffuse the fragrance.

Important:

  • Use only the provided pad. Never pour oils directly into the tray, tank, or other components.
  • Without a Pad? Use a sponge of similar size or a folded paper towel as a substitute.
  • Fragrance Intensity: This humidifier is not a dedicated diffuser; the fragrance will be subtle.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Preparation

  • Always unplug the unit before maintenance.
  • Work on a waterproof surface.
  • To Do:
    • Clean surfaces with a cleaning cloth.
    • Regularly clear the nozzle with a soft cloth.
    • Change water frequently to prevent bacteria.
    • For storage: empty and dry completely.
  • To Avoid:
    • Never immerse the main unit.
    • Do not get water into the air inlet.
    • Do not use detergents, solvents, or chemical products.

Mold Prevention

Mold spores are naturally present in water and air. They multiply rapidly if water stagnates for more than 48 hours.

  • Use distilled/demineralized water.
  • Completely dry the tank between uses.
  • Weekly cleaning with white vinegar.

Regular Cleaning

  1. Remove the main unit from the water tank and empty any residual water.
  2. Clean the lid, water inlet, and tank with a soft cloth or brush.
  3. Gently clean the inside of the chamber with a soft brush, preventing water from entering the air outlet.
  4. Maintain the water pump with a soft nylon brush and use a long brush for the silicone tube.

Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly or storage.

Descaling

(Approx. 20-30 minutes)

  1. Pour white vinegar into the chamber and tank.
  2. Soak the pump and silicone tube in white vinegar.
  3. Let the solution act for 20 to 30 minutes.
  4. Scrub deposits with a cloth or soft brush.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Important Notes:

  • Do not let water enter the air outlet.
  • Avoid scrubbing the ultrasonic disc too hard.
  • Vinegar may leave an odor: ventilate and dry well before reuse.
  • Alternative: Citric acid (follow product instructions).

Aroma Diffuser Cleaning

  1. Remove the aroma diffuser tray from the back of the humidifier.
  2. Rinse the tray and pad with water, then dry them before reassembly.

If the aroma pad remains stiff after cleaning, replace it. Missing? Use a sponge of similar size or folded absorbent paper.

Pump Maintenance & Replacement

If the water pump is not functioning, reinstall it first.

  • Disconnect: Turn the nut counter-clockwise. Firmly pull the cable near the connector.
  • Reconnect: Align and insert the connector. Tighten the nut clockwise.

Damaged pump? Purchase a replacement at: lacidoll.com. Persistent problem? Contact customer service.

Seasonal Storage

  • Clean the unit as indicated above.
  • Completely dry all parts.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
