Troubleshooting
Monitor Issues
- Why won't my baby monitor turn on? Make sure the monitor is on and charged. Check the charging indicator. Try a different power outlet or adapter.
- Is a WiFi connection required? No, this is a non-WiFi appliance. It uses 2.4GHz radio frequency for transmission.
- Why won't my baby monitor connect to the camera? Ensure the camera is securely plugged in and the cord is not damaged. Keep the monitor close to the camera during pairing. Check for signal blockers (metallic objects) or interference from other 2.4GHz devices. Follow the pairing steps in the menu.
- Why does the monitor screen keep switching off? Check the Screen Timeout settings. You may have VOX mode enabled, which turns the screen off when sound is below the alert level; this can be switched off in the menu.
- Why is the screen black when I view a camera? Ensure the camera is in range and securely plugged in. Check for damaged cords. Adjust the monitor antenna for better signal strength.
- Why is there no sound from the monitor? Check if the video volume is too low. Ensure VOX mode is not preventing sound transmission when below the alert level.
- How should I clean and maintain my monitor and accessories? Never immerse in water or liquids. Clean with a dry cloth only. Exercise caution when cleaning the camera lens. Clean the temperature sensor with a dry cotton swab regularly.
Video & Performance Issues
- Why is the temperature shown on the monitor not accurate? Ensure the camera's temperature sensor has good airflow and is not near heat sources. Place the camera at a lower height for more accurate readings. Try powering off/on, resetting, and re-pairing the camera.
- Why did the monitor video suddenly turn black and white? Night vision ? may have activated. Turn on room lights to disable it.
- Why is the screen a bit choppy? Ensure the camera is in range and adjust the monitor antenna for better signal strength.
- My baby monitor makes a noise. Microphone feedback may occur if the monitor is too close to the camera; keep them separated. If the volume is too high, adjust it down. Ensure the camera is within the recommended range (within 30 feet / 10 meters).
App Troubleshooting
If you encounter problems with the Baby monitor app, use the in-app search function ❓ or tap "My feedback" to create a new feedback report ? for assistance.
