USING YOUR BABY MONITOR
Getting Started
1. Plugging in the Camera
Connect the camera to the 5V DC power supply with the included AC adapter. The camera will automatically power on. Approximately 15 seconds later, you will hear a notification sound indicating that the camera has successfully powered on.
- Place the camera and power cord out of reach of children.
- Camera is not battery powered. Keep plugged in when in use.
2. Charging the Monitor
It takes around 4 hours to fully charge. The power indicator will turn red while charging and turn green when fully charged.
It takes around 7 hours to fully charge. The charging indicator will turn on while charging and off when fully charged.
3. Pairing the Camera with the Monitor
By default, the camera has been paired with the monitor when manufactured. If the camera is disconnected, please refer to page 13.
- Keep camera and monitor within a distance of 12-40 in (30-100cm) when pairing.
- Note: Microphone feedback might occur when they are close to each other.
4. Positioning the Camera
Keep the camera 3-16 ft (1-5m) away from your baby's crib, playpen, and baby bed for best viewing and safety reasons.
5. Wall Mounting the Camera (Optional)
Select a spot to mount the camera, ideally 5-8 ft high, keeping it beyond the reach of children. Install the included screw into the wall and mount the camera onto the screw.
- Do not release the camera until you're sure it is firmly mounted.

2. Volume Settings
Press [Menu], select through [Monitor Volume], [Talk Volume], [Lullaby Volume], [Alert Volume] and press [+/-] to adjust volume.
3. Lullaby
Press [Menu], select through [Lullaby], and press [+/-] to select lullabies. Press [OK] to choose random play, loop play, or turn off.
4. Brightness Settings
Press [Menu], select through [Brightness] and press [+/-] to adjust brightness level. Press [OK] to set the desired brightness level.
5. Screen Timeout
Press [Menu], select through [Screen Timeout], and press [+/-] to select duration. Press [OK] to set the desired time for the screen to turn off automatically.
6. Add a Camera
Press [Menu], select through [+ Add], press the Pair button on the camera near the antenna and listen for the prompt tone, then the camera will pair with the monitor automatically.
7. Split View and Auto Switch View
Press [Menu], select through [Cam View], and select [Split Screen Mode] to view two cameras in split-screen mode. In split-screen mode, the audio will switch between cameras every 15 seconds.
8. Delete a Camera
Press [Menu], select through [Delete], and select the camera number 1/2 to view. At least one camera should stay connected. The current camera number will appear at the top of the screen. If you want to remove the remaining camera, press the PAIR button three times to disconnect it, and then you can delete the remaining camera.
9. VOX (Voice Activated Alert)
Press [Menu], select through [VOX]. Choose a sensitivity level. The higher the VOX sensitivity level, the more sensitive the camera is in detecting sounds for transmitting to the monitor.
- Once set, the screen will go into sleep and enter VOX mode.
- In VOX mode, the screen will stop broadcasting sounds from the camera side until the audio detected is above the alert level.
- Screen will auto wake up according to the audio sensitivity level.
10. Nursing Reminder
Press [Menu], select through [Alarm Clock] to select the group, you can set up to four alarms to set a specific time for the monitor to alert you for nursing. You can also select through [Feeding reminder], and select 2 hours, 4 hours, or 6 hours to create a repeating reminder. The reminder will sound for 30 seconds and again after 1 minute if no action is taken, but will shut off automatically if none is taken after three times.
11. Privacy Mode
Press [Menu], select through [Camera WiFi On] to allow camera access via Wi-Fi and select [Camera WiFi Off] to block the app on App.
Note: App can only access camera when Wi-Fi is ON.
12. Motion Detection
Press [Menu], select through [Safety Protection], [Motion Detection] to select High / Middle / Low / OFF sensitivity levels to monitor your baby's movements. For example, select high sensitivity while your baby is sleeping to receive alerts for any movement. For an awake and playing baby, choose medium or low sensitivity.
13. Talkback
Press [Talk] to talk and release to listen. In split-screen mode, the talkback function is activated on the left camera by default. You can press [+/-] [OK] to select one camera to talk to. When the video volume is set low, you might not be able to hear from the camera side. When [Mute] is pressed, the sound from the camera side will not be heard.
14. Sleep Mode
Short press [Power/Sleep Button] to enter sleep mode. Press any button to wake up. In sleep mode, the screen will turn off, but the monitor will continue to receive sounds from the camera. At the same time, if the camera detected any abnormal condition, the monitor will be awakened.
15. Zoom In & Zoom Out
When viewing a camera, press [Zoom] to magnify the screen at 2x or 4x.
16. Pan & Tilt
Press [Menu], select through [Pan & Tilt] to select the camera, and press [OK] to enter camera control. Press [Arrow Keys] to view from different angles, 65 degrees vertically and 300 degrees horizontally.
17. Night Vision
The night vision is automatically activated in a dim environment. Infrared LEDs attached on the front of the camera allow you to see the baby in a dark room.
18. Temperature Alert
Press [Menu], select through [Temperature], press [+/-] to select [Default value], [High-temperature alarm], [Low-temperature alarm]. Press [OK] and press [+/-] to set.

- 2 TF Card: Only FAT32 memory cards are supported
- 3 Languages: Select device language
- 4 Time: Set the time on the monitor manually or sync it with the phone's time
- 5 Temperature: Select temperature

20. Reset Hole
If the monitor screen does not respond when you press any buttons, you can use a pin to press the reset hole on the back of the monitor to restart it.

Getting Start
Please follow page 16, step 11, and make sure you have not forbidden the Wi-Fi.
Add camera
Step 1: Connect your Phone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network
- For optimal performance, ensure that your device has a strong wireless signal. Additionally, please confirm that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported.
Step 2: Download and Install the Dr. Care App
Ensure that your phone is compatible with the Dr. Care app. (Specify unsupported systems here, if applicable.) Scan the QR code to download and install the Dr. Care app. You can also search for "Dr. Care" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Notifications and Permissions:
- To receive immediate updates about your children, please allow Dr. Care to send notifications to your device. Additionally, enable Dr. Care to access Wi-Fi and wireless data networks.
- Allow the Dr. Care app to use wireless data.
Step 3: Sign Into Your Dr. Care Account
- If you don't have a Dr. Care account, please tap "Register" to create one. Choose your country or region and enter your email address and password, then tap "Send" to receive a verification code. If you do not receive the code within 60 seconds, you can request a new one.
- If you already have an account, tap "Login" to interact with your baby.
Step 4: Pair the Camera with Your Phone
- Before adding the camera, ensure that your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Also, allow Dr. Care to find and connect to devices on your local network.
- Tap "Add Device."
- Allow Dr. Care to access your location and use Bluetooth.
- Enter the Wi-Fi information to which your phone is connected.
- Select the device you want to pair with your phone.
- Press and hold the WIFI button near the camera antenna for 5 seconds. When you hear the "DIDI" prompt tone, click "Next".
- Your device will be found immediately. Tap "Add" and enter the password for the Wi-Fi network to which your phone is connected. Otherwise, you will not be able to link your phone to the device.
- When you hear the prompt tone, your device has been set up successfully, and you will be able to see your baby monitor on the homepage.
- You can now interact with your baby anytime and anywhere!
- If you have another camera to pair, simply tap "Add Device," select the DC-SBM005 Camera mode, and follow the same steps as outlined above.

Step 5: Unbind the Device
If the camera displays "Already bound with another user," please click "Apply to Unbind." Dr.Care will review the applicant's information to determine whether to proceed with the unbinding. If you purchased a second-hand device, please provide your order details.
Note: To protect user privacy, each camera can only be bound to one user at a time. If you'd like to share the camera access with your family, please use the app's sharing feature.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Why won't my baby monitor turn on?
- Make sure the monitor is turned on and there is still power left.
- Charge with the included power cable only.
- Check if the charging indicator is on. If not, please switch to another power outlet or change the adapter.
Is a WiFi connection required to set up and use?
- This non-WiFi appliance does not need an internet connection for setup.
- The baby monitor and camera use 2.4GHz radio frequency for transmission.
Why won't my baby monitor connect to the camera?
- Make sure the camera is securely plugged in. Check if the plug and power cord are damaged.
- Make sure the monitor is close to the camera when pairing.
- Check if there are large metallic objects like doors, refrigerators, mirrors that might block signal transmission.
- Check if there are existing 2.4GHz equipment like WiFi networks and microwave ovens that might interfere with signal transmission.
- Press [Menu], select through [+ Add], press the PAIR button on the camera, then the camera will pair with the monitor automatically.
Why does the monitor screen keep switching off when I'm using it?
- You may have the VOX (Voice Activated Alert) mode on so that the screen will only come on when the sound is above the alert level. You can switch this feature off within the menu.
- Press [Menu], select through [Screen Timeout], and press [+/-] to set the desired time for the screen to turn off automatically.
Why is the screen black when I view a camera?
- Make sure the camera is in range and securely plugged in.
- Check if the plug and power cord are damaged.
- Adjust the monitor antenna to improve the signal strength.
Why is there no sound from the monitor?
- Check if the video volume is too low. Press the Menu Button, select through [Monitor Volume] and press [+/-] [OK] to set the desired volume level.
- Check if VOX mode is turned on. Note that in VOX mode the screen will stop broadcasting sounds from the camera side until the audio detected is above the alert level.
How should I clean and maintain my monitor and accessories?
- Never immerse in water or other liquids. They are not waterproof.
- Clean with a dry cloth only. Exercise caution when cleaning the camera lens.
- Clean the temperature sensor on the camera with a dry cotton swab on a regular basis.
Why is the temperature shown on the monitor not accurate?
- The temperature sensor is on the camera. Please make sure there is enough air circulation around the sensor.
- Do not place the camera near heat sources, including heaters, air-conditioning vents, and lamps.
- The air at the ceiling is warmer than the air at the floor. Place the camera at a relatively low height to read the temperature more accurately.
Why did the monitor video suddenly turn black and white?
- Power the monitor and camera off and on again, reset the monitor to factory settings, and pair the camera with the monitor again.
- Night vision may have become activated. Turn on the room lights and night vision will turn off automatically.
Why is the screen a bit choppy?
- Make sure the camera is in range.
- Adjust the monitor antenna to improve the signal strength.
My baby monitor makes a noise.
- Microphone feedback might occur when the monitor is too close to the camera. Keep them away from each other.
- Volume is too high. Press the Menu Button, select through [Monitor Volume] and press [+/-] [OK] to lower the volume.
- The camera is not in range. Please keep the distance within 30 feet / 10 meters.
Troubleshooting of app
If you have any problem with Baby monitor, please press [Search] to search the problem you meet. If not found, tap "My feedback" and create a new feedback or tap [Contact Us] to contact Dr.Care. Dr.Care will reply you as fast as possible.
