Product Overview

This document provides essential installation instructions for the Honeywell Home evotouch Wall Mounted Dock, model ATF600. It is designed to assist installers in correctly mounting and connecting the device.

Important Note for Italy: When performing wall installations in Italy, it is necessary to use the ATF300 power supply accessory.

Safety and Installation Requirements

General Safety Warning: Prior to any wiring, ensure the power supply is isolated and made safe. This is crucial to prevent electrical shock and damage to the equipment. Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional.

Wall Box Requirements: A minimum wall box depth of 40 mm is required.

Electrical Connections:

• Observe correct polarity when connecting wires to the power module. The power supply conductors are typically red (+) and black (-).
• Unused terminals, labeled X and Y, should not be connected.

Mounting Height: The wall box should be positioned at a minimum height of 1.2 meters from the floor.

Installation Procedure

1. Prepare Wall Box Location

   Mount the wall box at the specified minimum height of 1.2 meters.

2. Wire the Power Module

   The power supply unit can be installed in a location separate from the evotouch unit.

   Cable Specifications:

   • For a maximum cable length of 5 meters, use a 0.5 mm² cable.
   • For a maximum cable length of 10 meters, use a 1.0 mm² cable.

   Caution: Using cables that exceed the specified maximum length may lead to system malfunctions.

3. Attach Wall Plate

   Secure the wall plate to the wall box or directly onto the wall surface.

4. Install Power Module

   Insert the power module into the wall box. Ensure the mains wiring (230V AC ~) is routed towards the rear of the box.

5. Voltage Separation

   If required by the installation, insert a divider into the wall box to maintain separation between high and low voltage wiring.
