Multiview Output Layout

The multiview output displays PGM and PVW sources. The level meter for PGM audio is shown in multiview. SDI/HDMI PGM outputs do not have overlays.

The 6 windows in the multiview correspond to the 6 input signals. Sources for windows 5 and 6 can be selected from HDMI, DVI, VGA, or USB.

The lower right corner of the multiview displays menu and status information, including audio channel selection (CH1, CH2, CH3) and a real-time clock.

T-Bar Calibration

Calibration is necessary if the T-Bar shows misalignment. The process involves powering off the unit, pressing buttons 1 and 2 of PVW simultaneously, powering on the unit, and adjusting the T-Bar until all LED indicators turn on.

PGM PVW Switching

Buttons 1-6 in the PGM and PVW rows correspond to the 6 multiview windows. The selected PGM button lights red, and the selected PVW button lights green.

When operating AUTO or T-Bar transitions, the PGM and PVW row selections are temporarily invalid, and both LEDs turn red.

Tally Output

The PVS0615 has a 25-pin GPIO interface for tally output. Pin assignments are provided for PVW (Green) and PGM (Red) signals.

Transition Control

Source Selection of Channel 5 and Channel 6

Use the IN5/IN6 buttons to cycle through HDMI, DVI, VGA, and USB sources for channels 5 and 6. The switcher saves the last selected format.

USB Media Player

Plug a USB disk into the side panel USB port. Select channel 5 or 6 as USB input via the control panel. Use the VIDEO/IMAGE buttons to switch between video and image formats. Playback controls (Play/Pause, Fast Forward, Fast Backward, NEXT, BACK) are available. The unit supports various video formats including FLV, MP4, AVI, MKV, MPG, MOV, and image formats like BMP, JPEG, PNG.

SDI PGM/AUX and Multiview Output Format

The multiview output is fixed at 1080p60. PGM output format can be set via the knob. SDI output 3 can be configured as AUX, PVW, or PGM. Selectable resolutions for SDI/HDMI PGM and AUX outputs include 1080P50/60/30/25/24Hz and 1080I 50/60Hz.

Luma Key

When Luma Key is active, black areas in the video signal become transparent, revealing the background. This is useful for overlaying subtitles.

Pressing the Luma Key button activates the key setting interface, where background color and level can be adjusted.

Chroma Key

Chroma Key removes a specific color from the key source, revealing the background. It's commonly used for weather broadcasts and virtual studios with blue or green backgrounds.

Pressing the Chroma Key button activates the key setting interface, where the background can be switched between Green and Blue, and the color gamut can be adjusted.
