U13 WiFi Extender Quick Installation Guide

Panel Layout
LED Explanation:
- Red: Power indicator
- Blue Blinking: WPS connection in process (up to 2 minutes)
- Green Blinking: Extender connected to the Internet
- Orange Solid: Router connected to Host router, but too far
- Green Solid: Router connected to router, in a good location
- Green Blinking (LAN/WAN): Device connected to router's LAN/WAN port
- Off (LAN/WAN): No device connected to router's LAN/WAN port
Button and Port Explanation:
- Reset Button: Press and hold for more than 5 seconds to reset to factory defaults.
- WPS Button: Press to enable WPS function.
- LAN Port: For connecting to a DSL/Cable modem or Ethernet jack.
- WAN Port: For connecting to a DSL/Cable modem or Ethernet jack.
- LAN/WAN port: For connecting to a DSL/Cable modem or Ethernet jack.
WiFi Repeater Mode
In this mode, the extender boosts existing wireless coverage.
Relocate
- Plug the extender into an electrical outlet between your router (Host Network) and the Wi-Fi "dead" zone.
- The chosen location must be within the range of your existing host network.
- Wait until the LED is lit and solid Green. If not, relocate it closer to the router for better signal quality.
Configuration Methods:
Method ONE: Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
Recommended if your host router has a WPS button.
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on the extender for 1 second.
Wait for the LED to be Solid Green. You can find network names with "_EXT" in your phone's Wi-Fi list, indicating a successful WPS connection. If not, use Method Two.
Method TWO: Using a Web Browser
For Mobile phone users:
- Find the SSID (Network Name) printed on the label of the U13 router.
- Connect your mobile phone to the U13 router's network (e.g., "Extender-a4f97c").
- Open a web browser and navigate to
http://192.168.11.1
. - Follow the on-screen instructions to select Repeater mode, enter your Host router's password, and complete the configuration.
Network Names: Extended Network Names will be your Host Router's network name with "_EXT" at the end. Passwords will be the same as your host network.
AP Mode
In this mode, the router transforms your existing wired network into a wireless one.
- Connect your router to the U13's LAN/WAN port using an Ethernet cable.
- Connect your mobile phone to the U13 router's network (e.g., "Extender-a4f97c").
- Open a web browser and navigate to
http://192.168.11.1
. - Select AP mode and click next.
- Set the WiFi password (e.g., 88888888) or customize it.
- Click NEXT and follow the prompts to complete the configuration.
Router Mode
This mode allows the extender to function as a standalone router.
- Hardware Connections:
- If your internet connection is through a DSL/Cable modem, connect it to the U13's LAN/WAN port.
- If your internet connection is through an Ethernet cable from the wall, connect it to the U13's LAN/WAN port.
- Connect your mobile phone to the U13 router's network (e.g., "Extender-a4f97c").
- Open a web browser and navigate to
http://192.168.11.1
. - Select Router mode and click next.
- Set up Your Internet Connection: Choose Internet Type (Dynamic IP, Static IP, or PPPoE) and enter the required information provided by your ISP.
- Set the SSID (e.g., "Extender-a4f97c") and WiFi Password, or customize them.
- Click NEXT and follow the prompts to complete the Router mode configuration.
Connect to the extended network (default SSID and password) and enjoy internet access.

- Q1. What can I do if the login window does not appear?
- Ensure your computer is set to obtain an IP address automatically.

is entered correctly in the web browser. - Make sure your computer is connected to the Mini Router's network.

- Disable and re-enable your network adapter.
- Q2. What can I do if I cannot access the Internet?
- Check if the internet is working by connecting a computer directly to the modem via Ethernet cable. Contact your internet provider if it's not.
- Reboot your router and try again.
- Q3. How do I restore the router to its factory default setting?
- While the router is powered on, press and hold the reset button on the rear panel for approximately 5 seconds.
- Q4. Why is setting the repeater mode unsuccessful?
- You may have typed the router's wireless password incorrectly. Log in and check it.
- The Mini router may be out of range. Move it closer to the router.
- Reset the Mini Router and go through the configuration again.
- To reset the extender, press and hold the reset button inside the tiny hole for 10 seconds.
