Using the Appliance
First Use
After installation, wait at least two hours before connecting the appliance to the electrical network. Once connected, it will start operating automatically. The ideal temperature settings are pre-set at the factory. After turning on the appliance, wait 4-6 hours for it to reach the correct food storage temperature.
Refrigerator Compartment and Food Storage
The refrigerator compartment allows for the storage of fresh food and beverages. The defrosting of the refrigerator compartment is completely automatic. The periodic presence of water droplets on the inner rear wall of the compartment indicates the automatic defrosting phase. Defrost water is conveyed into a drain hole, then collected in a container where it evaporates.
Note: Ambient temperature, door opening frequency, and appliance location can influence the internal temperatures of the two compartments. Set the temperatures according to these factors. In conditions of high humidity, condensation may form in the refrigerator compartment, especially on glass shelves. In this case, it is recommended to close containers with liquids (e.g., broth pots), wrap foods with high moisture content (e.g., vegetables), and turn on the fan, if present. It is possible to remove drawers, door pockets, and shelves.
Ventilation
Natural air circulation in the refrigerator compartment creates zones with different temperatures. Insufficient ventilation leads to increased energy consumption and reduced refrigerator performance.
How to Store Fresh Food and Beverages
Foods that emit large amounts of ethylene (apples, apricots, pears, peaches, avocados, figs, plums, blueberries, melons, beans) or that are sensitive to this gas, such as fruits, vegetables, and salads, should be separated or wrapped to ensure longer storage; for example, do not store tomatoes with cabbage or kiwi. Do not place food too close together to allow sufficient air circulation. Use containers made of metal, aluminum, glass, and recyclable plastic, and wrap food in plastic wrap. If the food to be stored in the refrigerator occupies only part of the available space, it is recommended to use the shelves above the fruit and vegetable drawer, as this is the coldest zone of the compartment. Always use closed containers for liquids and for foods that may emit odors or be contaminated by odors or flavors. To prevent bottles from falling, use the special retaining accessory (available in some models).
Freezer Compartment and Food Storage
The freezer compartment is suitable for long-term storage of frozen foods and for freezing fresh foods. The quantity of fresh food that can be frozen within a given period is indicated on the rating plate. Place fresh foods in the freezing zone of the freezer compartment, leaving sufficient space around the packages for air circulation. Avoid direct contact between fresh foods and frozen foods. The maximum load depends on baskets, drawers, shelves, etc. Check that these components can be closed easily after loading the appliance. To optimize freezing speed and increase storage space, drawers can be removed from the freezer compartment.
Removing the Freezer Drawers
- Open the freezer door.
- Lift the top drawer by leveraging the right and left corners (1).
- Remove the drawer (2).
- To reinstall the top drawer, repeat the procedure in reverse order.
Instructions for use
Tips for Freezing and Storing Fresh Food
- It is recommended to apply a date label to all frozen foods. Adding a label allows you to identify the foods and know when to use them before their quality deteriorates. Do not refreeze thawed foods.
- Wrap and seal fresh food to be frozen in: aluminum foil, plastic wrap, waterproof plastic packaging, polyethylene containers with lids, freezer containers suitable for freezing foods.
- Foods must be fresh, ripe, and of the highest quality to obtain high-quality frozen foods.
- Fresh vegetables and fruits should be frozen immediately after harvesting to maintain their nutritional properties, consistency, color, and flavor. Some types of meat, particularly game, should be hung before freezing.
- Always cool hot foods before placing them in the freezer.
- Consume completely or partially thawed foods as soon as possible. Do not refreeze foods unless they have been cooked after thawing. After cooking, thawed foods can be refrozen.
- Do not freeze bottles containing liquids.
Frozen Foods: Purchasing Tips
When purchasing frozen foods:
- Ensure the packaging is intact, otherwise the food may have deteriorated. If the packaging is swollen or shows damp spots, it has not been stored under optimal conditions and may have undergone initial thawing.
- Purchase frozen foods last and use thermal bags for transport.
- Once home, immediately place the frozen foods in the freezer.
- Do not refreeze partially thawed foods. Consume within 24 hours.
- Avoid or minimize temperature fluctuations. Respect the expiry date shown on the packaging.
- Always follow the packaging instructions for storing frozen foods.

Instructions for use
Functional Sounds
The acoustic signals coming from the appliance are normal because the product contains a series of fans and motors to regulate performance that activate and deactivate automatically.
Some functional acoustic signals can be reduced:
- By leveling the appliance and installing it on a flat surface.
- By separating and avoiding contact between the appliance and furniture.
- By checking that the internal components are correctly positioned.
- By checking that bottles and containers are not in contact with each other.
Here are some of the functional acoustic signals that may be emitted:
- A hiss when the appliance is first switched on or after a long period of disuse.
- A gurgling sound when the refrigerant liquid enters the pipes.
- A "BRRR" sound due to the compressor running.
- A hum when the water valve or fan activates.
- A crackling sound when the compressor starts.
- The CLICK is due to the thermostat regulating the compressor's operation.
Recommendations for When the Appliance is Not in Use
When the appliance is not in use
Disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply, empty it, defrost it (if necessary), and clean it. Keep the doors slightly ajar to allow air circulation inside the compartments. This prevents the formation of mold and bad odors.
In case of power outages
Keep the doors closed, so that the food remains cold for as long as possible. Do not refreeze partially thawed foods. In case of a prolonged outage, the black-out alarm may also activate (in products with electronics).
Instructions for use
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, unplug the appliance from the power outlet or disconnect the electrical supply. Never use abrasives. Do not clean refrigerator components with flammable liquids. Do not use steam cleaning appliances. Do not clean the control panel buttons and display with alcohol or substances derived from it, but always with a dry cloth.
Periodically clean the appliance using a cloth and a solution of warm water and neutral detergents specific for cleaning the inside of the refrigerator. Clean the exterior of the appliance and the door gasket with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth. The condenser at the rear of the appliance should be cleaned regularly using a vacuum cleaner.
Important: Do not clean the control panel buttons and display with alcohol or substances derived from it, but always with a dry cloth. The refrigeration system ducts are located near the defrosting tray and may get hot. Clean them periodically with a vacuum cleaner. To ensure constant and correct drainage of defrost water, regularly clean the inside of the drain hole located on the rear wall of the refrigerator compartment, near the fruit and vegetable drawer, using the tool provided.
