Installation
Preliminary Checks:
- Ensure the gate moves smoothly without resistance.
- Check that the gate remains in position when stopped.
- Verify hinges and wear parts are in good condition.
- Confirm gate structure is robust and leaves are rigid.
- Ensure leaves align perfectly when closed.
- Check that support pillars are suitable for motor mounting.
- A ground stop for closing is recommended.
Fitting the Automation:
- Determine the correct height for the automation unit, ensuring it is centered and aligned with a sturdy cross piece.
- Weld mounting plate P according to Figure 2 dimensions.
- With the gate closing, weld bracket S according to Figure 2 dimensions to a suitable gate cross piece, ensuring the actuator is not at its end of travel.
- Remove protective cover C by unscrewing screw F.
- Fix the actuator to plate P using screw T, washer L, and nut D.
- Secure the actuator to bracket S using screw V and washer R.
- Use the pre-drilled holes (Figure 2A) for precise installation.
- Adjustable fixing brackets (available on request) can facilitate installation in various conditions.
Mechanical Stopper Adjustment:
- Unlock the automation using the release lever.
- Move the gate leaf to the closed position.
- Loosen screws V1, move the "Close" lock to contact pivot P, and tighten screws V1.
- Move the gate leaf to the open position.
- Loosen screws V2, move the "Open" lock to contact pivot P, and tighten screws V2.
- Restore automatic operation.
Connections:
- Use the provided plate P for PG11 or PG13.5 cable glands.
- Ensure the unit is properly earthed using the GND terminal.
Electrical Connections
The required cables may vary depending on installed accessories. No connection cables are supplied.

Manual and Emergency Operation
In case of power failure or malfunction, follow these steps to operate the gate manually:
- Open the protective door (Figure A*).
- Insert and turn the personalized key C anti-clockwise (Figure B*).
- Open the protective door of the release mechanism (Figure C).
- Insert the special release key and turn it 90° (Figure D for right actuator, Figure E for left actuator).
- The gate can now be opened or closed manually.
- To restore automatic operation, return the release key to its original position.
- Remove the release lever and close the protective door.
*Only for BOB30M / BOB30ME models.
Maintenance
- Periodically check the operation of the emergency manual release.
- Do not attempt any repairs yourself; contact a qualified technician.
- The operator is maintenance-free, but safety devices and other components should be checked periodically for wear.
