ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Please examine your product for any visible damage before using/installing. If you see any damage or suspect a fault, please do not use, but contact your supplier.
Carefully remove all packaging and ensure all loose fitments have been provided. (See fig. 1 for parts overview).
If you have purchased the VG832B (with castors) follow this step, otherwise move on to step 3. Locate the pre-punched castor holes on the base frame (as shown in fig. 2). Align the castor and screw in with the spanner (J) provided (see fig. 3). Ensure castors are fully tightened.
Diagram Description (fig. 2): Illustrates the U-shaped base frame with four pre-punched holes where the castors are to be attached.
Diagram Description (fig. 3): Depicts a castor being screwed into the base frame using the provided spanner.
Turn the U frame over so that the spigots are facing up. Lower the H frame onto the spigots of the U frame (see fig. 4). Ensure the black plastic collars on the H frame are at the top and the spigots on the H frame are facing outwards (see fig. 5).
Diagram Description (fig. 4): Shows the H-frame being lowered onto the spigots of the inverted U-frame. Arrows indicate the direction of movement.
Diagram Description (fig. 5): A close-up view showing the black plastic collars on the H-frame and the orientation of the spigots on the H-frame.
Align pre-punched holes in the bottom of the H frame with the pre-punched holes in the spigots of the U frame. Insert E-clips to lock in position, ensuring they click in place and are secure (see fig. 6 and 7).
Diagram Description (fig. 6 & 7): Close-up views illustrating the insertion of E-clips into aligned holes to secure the H-frame to the U-frame spigots. The clips are shown clicking into place.
Place the L-shaped tube onto the underside of the table top, observing the following (VERY IMPORTANT):
- The riveted end of the L-shaped tube MUST be placed onto the underside of the table top (see fig. 8).
- The riveted end of the L-shaped tube MUST be placed between pre-drilled holes nearest to the edge of the table (approximately 10 cm from table edge) (see fig. 9 and 10).
Diagram Description (fig. 8): A view of the underside of the table top, showing the placement of the riveted end of an L-shaped tube.
Diagram Description (fig. 9): Diagram showing the correct placement of the riveted end of the L-shaped tube on the underside of the table top, between pre-drilled holes nearest to the edge, approximately 10 cm from the edge. A checkmark indicates correctness.
Diagram Description (fig. 10): Diagram showing the incorrect placement of the riveted end of the L-shaped tube. An 'X' mark indicates incorrectness.
Attach the L-shaped tubes using four C-shaped brackets and eight screws (see fig. 11). Ensure that the two C-shaped brackets nearer the edge of the table are between the two rivets (see fig. 12). Do not overtighten as this may cause damage to the table.
Diagram Description (fig. 11): Shows the L-shaped tubes being attached to the underside of the table top using C-shaped brackets and screws.
Diagram Description (fig. 12): A close-up detail showing a C-shaped bracket positioned correctly between two rivets on the underside of the table top. An arrow indicates the correct placement.
Insert the free ends of the L-shaped tubes into the H-frame (see fig. 13). You may require assistance to align them correctly. Slowly lower the table top (see fig. 13). Ensure you lower both sides at the same time to prevent binding.
Diagram Description (fig. 13): Illustrates the process of inserting the free ends of the L-shaped tubes into the H-frame and lowering the table top. Arrows show the downward movement and the alignment of the tubes.
Loosely attach two thumbwheels to the small spigots at the top of the H-frame (see fig. 14).
Diagram Description (fig. 14): Shows the two thumbwheels being loosely attached to the small spigots at the top of the H-frame.
Raise or lower the table top to the desired height and tighten thumb wheels by turning clockwise to secure (see fig. 15). Ensure the height is the same on both sides; otherwise, the table will not be level and not safe for use.
Diagram Description (fig. 15): Demonstrates tightening the thumbwheels clockwise to secure the table top at the desired height. Arrows indicate the clockwise rotation.
To adjust height, loosen thumb wheels anti-clockwise (see fig. 16) and repeat step 9.
Diagram Description (fig. 16): Demonstrates loosening the thumbwheels anti-clockwise to adjust the height. Arrows indicate the anti-clockwise rotation.
