Model: VR278D

Brand: Aidapt

A white plastic bath step with a grey, textured non-slip surface on top. It has a curved front and is designed to be placed in a bathtub or shower.

Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Aidapt Plastic Bath Step. Manufactured from high-quality materials, this bath step is designed to provide many years of reliable service when used correctly.

NB. Do not exceed the stated weight limit, as doing so could put the user at risk.

Weight limit: 120 kg (18.5 stone)

Before Use

  • Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using knives or other sharp instruments that could damage the product surface.
  • Inspect the product for any visible damage. If damage or a fault is suspected, do not use the product as it may compromise safety. Contact your supplier for support.
  • As with all devices designed to assist the elderly or disabled, exercise caution to avoid sudden or undue movements when using this equipment.

Warnings & Usage

  • Ensure the step is dry and free from soap or oil film.
  • Position the back of the step against a solid upright surface to prevent it from moving forward.
  • Step centrally onto the step with both feet.
  • Test for stability before use.
  • DO NOT step onto the edge of the step, as this may cause it to tip. Always step onto the middle of the step top, ensuring your weight is evenly distributed.
  • DO NOT jump onto or off the step.
  • Use the step only when dry to reduce the risk of slipping. Ensure the surface beneath the step is also dry before use.
  • NB. This is not a toy; ensure children are supervised at all times.

Height Adjustment & Stacking

Multiple Bath Steps can be stacked together to increase the overall height. Stack two or three steps one on top of the other, ensuring each step is fully pushed down onto the step below.

Cleaning

All components are manufactured from quality materials. Clean your Plastic Bath Step using only a non-abrasive cleaner or mild detergent with a soft cloth. Abrasive cleaners or pads can seriously damage the product beyond repair.

Use of Bath Oils

Exercise caution if using bath oils or oily skin preparations with your Bath Step, as this may impair your natural contact skin resistance. If any such oil is used, the Bath Step must be thoroughly cleaned with a suitable detergent to break down any oily residue. Failure to follow this recommendation could impair your safety.

Reissue

If you are reissuing or about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all components for their safety. If in any doubt, do not issue or use the product, but immediately contact your supplier for service support.

Care & Maintenance

Perform a safety check of the product at regular intervals or if you have any concerns.
