Meet the New Member of Your Family
The Trifo Emma robot vacuum is designed to be a helpful addition to your home cleaning routine. It comes with a charging station and power adapter.
Key Components:
- Upper Lid: Provides access to internal components.
- Dustbin: Collects dirt and debris.
- Dustbin Release Button: Allows for easy removal of the dustbin.
- USB Charging Port: For charging the robot.
- Wi-Fi Indicator: Shows Wi-Fi connectivity status.
- Reset Button: Used for resetting the robot.
- Power Button: Turns the robot on or off.
- Recharge Button: Initiates the charging process.
- Signal Indicator: On the charging station, indicates status.
- Charging Contacts: Connects the robot to the charging station.
- DC Plug: Connects the power adapter to the outlet.
Getting Started
To start using your Emma robot vacuum:
- Remove any protective strips from the robot and its charging station.
- Plug in the charging station and ensure it has adequate space around it (at least 1.5ft clearance on sides and 4.5ft in front).
- Place the robot on the charging station to charge. The robot will indicate when it is fully charged.
Charging:
Connect the power adapter to the charging station and a power outlet. Place the robot onto the charging station. Allow the robot to charge fully before its first use.
Trifo Home App:
Download the Trifo Home App from your device's app store (available for Apple and Android) to control and manage your Emma robot vacuum. Scan the QR codes provided to download the app.
Operation and Indicator Lights
Basic Operations:
- To wake Emma up: Long press the power button until you hear it start.
- To shut Emma down: Long press the power button.
- To start/pause: Short press the power button.
- To start recharging: Short press the recharge button when Emma is operating or paused.
- To stop recharging: Short press the recharge button.
- To connect Emma to Wi-Fi: Long press the Wi-Fi button.
- To reset: Long press the reset button.
Indicator Light Meanings:

Mopping Function
To use the mopping function:
- Open the lid and add clean water to the water tank.
- Attach the mopping pad.
- Insert the water tank into the robot.
- Start mopping.
- Change the mopping pad and add clean water every 20 minutes for optimal performance.
Dustbin Maintenance
To empty the dustbin:
- Take out the dustbin.
- Open the dustbin.
- Empty the contents.
- Open the dustbin door.
- Remove the filters.
- Wash both filters and allow them to dry completely before reassembling and reinserting the dustbin.
Brush Maintenance
To clean or replace the brush:
- Clean out tangled hair, string, and other debris from the main brush. Scissors may be helpful.
- Remove the brush guard by pressing in the indicated area.
- Remove the main brush.
- Replace the brush guard or the main brush. For the Trifo Emma Pet model, you can replace the brush and brushguard with the interchangeable pet hair extractor.
- Do not forget to clean the side brush.
Keeping the Robot Running Smoothly:
Turn the robot over to access the underside. Clean the caster wheel, drive wheels (x2), and cliff sensors (x6).
Safety Instructions
General Safety:
- Read and follow all safety instructions before using the product. Keep the manual for future reference.
- The robot vacuum-mop is for indoor use only.
- Do not disassemble the robot or attempt to replace the battery yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.
- Only use the power adapter provided by the manufacturer.
- Do not touch the outlet or power adapter with wet hands.
- Do not place the robot near sources of ignition like cigarette butts or lighters.
- Do not bend wires excessively or place heavy or sharp objects on the robot.
- Do not sit on the robot.
- Do not operate the robot in wet or humid environments.
- Do not use the robot near heat sources or open flames.
- Remove small or fragile objects from the cleaning area before use.
- Do not place the robot on unstable surfaces like tables or chairs where it could fall.
- Ensure the power adapter is properly connected to the outlet.
- Inform household members when the robot starts operating to prevent tripping hazards.
- Empty the dustbin when it is full.
- Operate the product at room temperature. Avoid exposing the product or its batteries to freezing temperatures or extreme heat (above 40°C/104°F or below 0°C/32°F).
- Do not press or scratch the glass window with hard objects.
- Do not operate the robot with the upper lid open.
- The HEPA filter is washable and must be dried before use.
- Move power cords and curtains out of the way to prevent them from being pulled down.
- Do not use the robot to pick up large debris, liquids, bleach, paint, petrol, or flammable materials.
- Keep the exhaust port clear of lint, hair, and other obstructions.
- Do not use the product if the charging station is damaged.
- Do not burn the product, as this can cause battery explosions.
- Do not place the robot upright with a full water tank.
- Do not use the mopping function on carpets.
- Remove the water tank before docking the robot.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
- Do not operate the vacuum in a room where an infant or child is sleeping.
- Do not operate the vacuum in areas with lit candles or fragile objects on the floor.
- Do not operate the robot in rooms with lit candles on furniture that the robot might accidentally bump into.
- The battery is non-user-replaceable. It can only be replaced by a skilled person.

This product complies with the limits for harmful substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), and phthalates as set by RoHS Directive (EU) 2015/863.

Maintenance
- Turn off and wipe the robot clean before storing. Charge it at least once every three months, even if not in use.
- Clean hair and debris from wheels weekly.
- Clean the main brush weekly and replace it every 6-12 months.
- Clean the side brush monthly and replace it every 3-6 months.
- Wash the dustbin every two weeks. Ensure it is dry before reinserting.

Warranty
