Safety Instructions
DANGER! Failure to obey these warnings will result in death or serious injury.
- Electrocution hazard: Ensure power supply has RCD/RCCB/GFCI, especially in damp areas. Do not touch exposed cables with bare hands. Ensure power supply line and plug are dry before operation.
- WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in death or serious injury.
- Do not operate if visibly damaged. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or authorized service agent. Repairs must be done by qualified personnel.
- Plug into sockets ensuring proper connection, especially if earthing is required.
- Fire hazard: Ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged. Do not locate multiple socket-outlets or power supplies at the rear. Keep ventilation openings clear of obstructions. Do not use mechanical objects to speed up defrosting unless recommended. Do not open or damage the refrigerant circuit. Do not use electrical devices inside unless recommended.
- Health hazard: Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Explosion hazard: Do not store explosive substances like aerosol cans with flammable propellant.
- CAUTION! Failure to obey these cautions could result in minor or moderate injury.
- Before starting, ensure the power supply line and plug are dry. Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning and maintenance, and after every use.
- To avoid food contamination, check cooling capacity, store food in original packaging or suitable containers, minimize opening times, and clean surfaces regularly.
- If the device is left empty, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the lid open.
- NOTICE! Damage hazard: Check voltage specification. Connect only as instructed (DC or AC). Never pull the plug by the cable. Disconnect from battery before connecting a quick charger. Disconnect or switch off when turning off the engine to prevent battery discharge. Not suitable for caustic materials or solvents. Do not place near heat sources.
- Risk of overheating! Ensure minimum 50 mm (1.97 in) ventilation on all sides. Keep ventilation area clear. Do not use or store in areas with minimal air flow. Do not fill with ice or fluids. Never immerse in water. Protect from heat and moisture. Do not expose to rain.
Intended Use
The cooling device is suitable for cooling food and is designed for operation from a vehicle/boat DC power supply, a DC auxiliary battery, or an AC power supply. It is also suitable for camping use. Applications include staff kitchens, guest houses, hotels, motels, B&Bs, catering, and similar non-retail environments.
This product is intended only for the purpose and application described in these instructions. Improper installation, use, or maintenance may lead to unsatisfactory performance or failure. The manufacturer is not liable for injury or damage resulting from incorrect assembly, maintenance, unauthorized alterations, or use for purposes other than described.
Operation
Saving Energy
- Choose a well-ventilated location protected from direct sunlight.
- Allow warm food to cool down before placing it in the cooler.
- Do not open the cooling device more often or for longer than necessary.
- If equipped with a basket, position it as delivered for optimal energy consumption.
- Regularly check that the lid seal fits properly.
Operating
- Minimize temperature fluctuations. Open the cooler only when necessary and for the shortest possible time. Store food to allow air circulation.
- Adjust temperature based on food quantity and type.
- Store food in covered containers or bottles to prevent odor or taste absorption/release.

Warranty
Igloo Products Corp. warrants the ICF series against defects in material or workmanship for 1 year from the original purchase date under normal use. This is the exclusive warranty. Igloo will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product if defective. The warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable. Dealers and service centers cannot alter warranty terms. Igloo is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. The warranty does not apply to units or components that have been abused, misused, neglected, damaged in an accident, used for unintended purposes, or repaired/altered without authorization.
The product is designed for 12V DC vehicle systems and 110/120V AC (US/Canada) or 220/240V AC (Europe) household systems. Implied warranties, including merchantability, are limited to 1 year from the original purchase date.

How to obtain warranty service: Do not return to the place of purchase. Submit a claim via the website. Return the product with proof of purchase and a description of the defect as instructed by customer service.
Disposal
Recycling products with non-replaceable batteries, rechargeable batteries, or light sources: Dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulations. Disposal may be free of charge.
Recycling packaging material: Dispose of packaging material in appropriate recycling bins whenever possible.
