2. Product Introduction
Description of the device's external features:
- Lens: The primary optical component for capturing images.
- Microphone: For audio input.
- Spotlight: An integrated light source.
- PIR Detector: Passive Infrared sensor for motion detection.
- LED Indicator: Provides status information via light signals.
- Reset/WPS Button: Used for device reset and Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).
- Built-in Speaker: For audio output.
- Micro SD Card Slot: For local storage.
Description of the device's top and rear:
- The top cap can be opened with the pry bar from the accessory kit.
- The Reset/WPS button is located on the rear.

Note: Press the Reset/WPS Button to enable WPS. Press the Reset/WPS Button for 10 seconds to reset the device.
3. Operation with Imou App
- Connect the device to a power source using the power adapter.
- Connect your smartphone to your Wi-Fi network. Scan the "Imou" QR code (typically found on the packing box) to download and install the Imou App.
- Launch the Imou App and register an account if this is your first time using it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to add your device.
Description of the Imou App setup process:
- Screen 1 (Device): Shows the main device screen with an "Add Device" button [plus icon].
- Screen 2 (Scan): Shows a scanning interface.
- Screen 3 (Setup - WiFi Name): Prompts for the Wi-Fi network name and has a "Next" button.
- Screen 4 (Setup - Admin password): Prompts for an administrator password and has an "OK" button.
- Screen 5 (Setup - Add Successfully): Indicates the device has been added successfully, with a "Live View" button.
Note: If you have more than one device, repeat step 4 for each device. If your Wi-Fi network changes, reset the device and repeat step 4 to add it again.
4. Installing Device
Description of the mounting process:
- The device is mounted onto a Mounting Surface.
- A Bracket is attached to the device.
- The bracket is secured to the mounting surface using Self-tapping Screws and/or Expansion Bolts.
- A Power Cable connects to the device.
