Overview

Front Panel

The front panel features a Micro USB port for power input.

Rear Panel

The rear panel includes an Indicator light, an HDMI port for video output, and a Reset Button.

Remote Control

Notes: The images shown are for illustrative purposes only. Not all remote functions may be compatible with your TV.

Installation

Installing Remote Control Batteries

  1. Remove the battery cover on the rear of the remote control.
  2. Insert x2 AAA LR03 alkaline batteries according to the correct polarity.
  3. Replace the battery cover.

System Connection

Note: Turn off all devices before connecting.

Step 1: Connect to Power

  1. Connect one end of the provided USB cable to the Micro USB port on the device and the other end to the provided power adaptor.
  2. Connect the power adaptor to an electrical outlet.

Step 2: Connect to the TV

Connect one end of the provided HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the device and the other end to an available HDMI port on your TV.

Note: If you have trouble fitting your device to an HDMI port on your TV, you can use an HDMI extension cable (not provided).

Step 3: Set Up Your Device

Turn on your TV and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Installing Live TVx

  1. From the home screen, scroll to the 'Apps' tab.
  2. Scroll to the search bar and search for 'Live TVx'.
  3. Install 'Live TVx'.

Operation

Indicator

Resetting and Pairing the Remote

If the remote is unresponsive or has been previously paired to another dongle, follow the steps below to reset and pair the remote.

  1. Press and hold the 'OK' and 'Mute' buttons until the remote indicator flashes twice.

  1. Press and hold the 'Reset' button on the rear of the dongle.

  1. Press and hold the 'Back' and 'Home' buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until the indicator on the remote flashes green.

  1. Press and hold the 'Back' and 'Home' buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

  1. The remote is now successfully paired with the dongle.

Live TVs

Note: If LiveTVx doesn't launch when the 'Live TV' button is pressed, refer to 'Installing Live TVx'.

Google Assistant

Press the 'Google Assistant' button to use voice commands for searching current content, changing channels, controlling the TV, opening apps, and more.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
No display after powering on.
  • Ensure both the device and TV are powered on.
  • Confirm that the HDMI cable is securely connected and the TV is set to the correct HDMI input.
TV displays video but no sound.
  • Verify that the TV is not muted and the volume is turned up.
  • Open the A/V settings menu and select the appropriate audio channel and language.
Network connection fails.
  • Check that your Wi-Fi is functioning correctly.
  • Ensure the device is receiving a strong signal from the router.
Remote control is unresponsive.
  • Replace the remote control batteries with new ones.
  • Press and hold the 'Reset' button on the rear of the device for more than 3 seconds to unpair the remote. Then, follow the instructions to re-pair the remote.
  • Always use the provided accessories to avoid compatibility or safety issues.
LiveTVx app doesn't launch after pressing the 'Live TV' button.
  1. Open Settings → App → See all apps
  2. Open the Google Play store.
  3. Search 'LiveTVx' and open it.
  4. This app will launch the next time the 'Live TV' button is pressed.
