This refrigerator is suitable for various applications, including department stores, houses, meeting rooms, and sitting rooms.
Structure and Parts
The refrigerator features a glass door and adjustable grids for organizing goods. It has an air suction inlet and an air outlet. Never block the air suction or outlet to ensure proper circulation of cold air.
Diagram Description: A visual representation of the display refrigerator shows the glass door, grids inside, air suction inlet on the side, and air outlet on the opposite side.
Handle and Erection
- Handle with care: Always unplug the wall socket before handling. Never tilt the unit more than 45 degrees during transport.
- Dry place: Locate the refrigerator in a dry place.
- Well ventilation: Ensure the refrigerator is placed in a well-ventilated area. For first-time use, wait 2 hours after handling before plugging it in and starting.
- Far from heat source: Avoid placing the refrigerator directly under sunlight or near any heat source or heater to maintain its refrigeration capability.
- No heavy load: Do not place heavy objects on top of the refrigerator.
- No hole making: Do not make holes in the refrigerator or install other items on it.
- Stable location: Unpack and place the refrigerator on a flat and solid surface.
Preparation and Power Supply
The refrigerator requires a 110-120V, single-phase AC power supply with an exclusive single-phase three-pin receptacle (125V 16A) and a 6A fuse. Ensure the power receptacle has a reliable earth connection.
Diagram Description: A diagram illustrates the electrical connection, showing a power receptacle connected to an earth bar, with an arrow indicating the flow of electricity.
No share on socket: Never share the power socket with other appliances to prevent overheating and potential fire hazards.
Use and Caution
- Protect cables: Avoid breaking or damaging the cables to prevent current leakage and fire.
- No water flushing: Do not flush the refrigerator surface with water, as it may result in current leakage.
- Prevent from flammables and explosive: Do not store flammable or explosive materials (e.g., ether, gasoline, alcohol) inside the refrigerator or place them nearby.
- No spray: Spraying flammable substances like paint or coating near the refrigerator is prohibited due to fire risk.
- After power break: If the power breaks or the refrigerator is unplugged, wait at least 5 minutes before plugging it back in and restarting.
- No medicine: Do not store medicine inside the refrigerator.
- Before use: Plug the refrigerator into a 110-120V exclusive socket. After it starts running, check the air suction for sufficient cold air before placing food inside.
Digital Temperature Controller
The refrigerator is equipped with a mini-sized, intelligent controller applicable to a one Hp compressor. Its main functions include temperature display/control, manual/automatic defrost, illumination control, value storing, and self-testing/parameter locking.
Diagram Description: The control panel shows a digital display with buttons for setting temperature and controlling illumination and defrost functions. It includes indicators for Refrigerant LED and Defrost LED.
Front Panel Operation:
- Set temperature: Press the "set" button to display the set temperature. Use the up/down buttons to adjust and store the value. Press "set" again to exit.
- If no button is pressed for 10 seconds, the current cold-room temperature will be displayed.
- Illumination: Press the illumination button to turn lights on/off.
- Manual start/stop defrost: Press and hold the defrost button for 6 seconds to start or stop defrosting.
- Refrigerant LED: Indicates refrigeration status (on during operation, off when temp is constant, flashes during delay start).
- Defrost LED: Indicates defrosting status (on during defrosting, off when stopped, flashes during defrost delay).
- "Turbo" function: Long press the up arrow button for 3 seconds to force the compressor to run for 2 hours, followed by defrosting. Long press the up arrow button again for 3 seconds to exit forced cooling.
Cautions
- Minimize door opening time and frequency to maintain cold temperature.
- Do not block air suction and outlet to ensure proper air circulation and refrigeration.
- Avoid overcrowding the refrigerator with food, as it affects cooling. Adjust rack height for optimal storage.
- Cool hot food to room temperature before placing it inside.
- Reduce open times and keep the refrigerator cold in case of power outage.
- Repairs to the power cable should only be performed by skilled service personnel using special tools.
- Never touch the compressor to avoid burns.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised by a responsible person. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- The maximum load capacity of the shelves is 10 kg.
- The appliance is designed for climatic class 4 and is suggested for use in ambient temperatures between 16°C and 32°C.
WARNING
- Keep ventilation openings clear of obstructions.
- Do not use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting, except as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- Only use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments that are recommended by the manufacturer.
Maintenance
- Notice: Regular cleaning and maintenance are necessary. Always unplug the socket before performing maintenance. Do not use damaged plugs or loose sockets. Never flush the refrigerator or use harsh detergents, gasoline, acetone, or brushes.
- Clean outside: Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with a neutral detergent (tableware detergent), then dry with a soft cloth.
- Clean inside: Remove racks and clean them with water.
- Shut down refrigerator for a long time: Remove all food, unplug the wall socket, clean the interior and exterior thoroughly, and leave the door open for drying. Keep glass away from children as it can break easily. Clean and dry the condensate tray.
Trouble Shooting
Trouble | Cause and Remedy |
---|---|
No refrigeration | Is the plug in socket well? Is the fuse broken? Is there no power? |
Unsatisfactory refrigeration | Is it under the sunshine? Is there any heat source nearby? Is the surrounding ventilation bad? Does the door close well? Does the door open for a long time? Is the door seal strip deformed or damaged? Is food congested or too much? Does food block the air suction or outlet? Regulate the temperature controller. |
Much noise | The refrigerator does not level. The refrigerator contacts wall or other matter. There is loose part in refrigerator. |
Contact a local service agent for assistance if simple troubleshooting does not resolve the problem.
Note: The following phenomena are not considered troubles:
- The murmur of water is heard when the refrigerator is working, as the coolant circulates.
- Condensation on the outside of the refrigerator in wet weather is due to high humidity and can be wiped with a cloth.
Principle of Refrigeration System
The compression refrigeration system operates through four stages: compression, condensation, throttling, and vaporization. The compressor compresses the coolant, which is then condensed by the condenser. The throttling valve, typically a capillary device, regulates the flow, and the evaporator facilitates vaporization. The circulating coolant absorbs heat from the refrigerator's interior, becoming a high-pressure, high-temperature gas. In the condenser, it dissipates heat to the air, re-liquefies, and passes through the capillary device before entering the evaporator at low pressure. Here, it vaporizes rapidly, absorbing heat. The compressor then draws in this low-pressure, low-temperature gas, continuing the cycle to achieve refrigeration.
Diagram Description: A schematic illustrates the refrigeration cycle, showing a compressor, condenser, capillary device, evaporator, and drying filter, with arrows indicating the flow of refrigerant in liquid and gas states.
Circuit Diagram
The circuit diagram shows the connections for the room probe, high-temperature probe, ON-OFF switch, power supply (110-120V~ 60Hz), fan motor, starter, capacitor, compressor, overload protector, and LED lamp.
