Installation Mode Selection

Press and release the programming button on the module to select the installation mode.
Observe the LED flashes:
- LED flashes 1X once = DATA MODE
- LED flashes 2X twice = STANDARD HARDWIRE MODE
Press and hold the programming button until the LED turns solid GREEN to register the selection.
After registration, follow the Factory Reset Procedure to change the installation mode and restart this procedure if needed.

Module Programming Procedure - PTS (Push-to-Start)

Close all vehicle doors and the trunk/hatch.
Locate the key port on the steering wheel column. Remove the key port cover if applicable.
Insert the keyfob into the keyport.
Push the vehicle's start button once to the ON position. The module's LED will turn solid RED.
Wait for the module's LED to flash GREEN rapidly (this may take up to 15 seconds).
Push the vehicle's start button once to the OFF position.
Remove the keyfob from the keyport.
Disconnect all connectors from the module except the black 4-PIN standard or optional data connector.
Disconnect the black 4-PIN standard or optional data connector.
Remove the module from the vehicle.
Connect the module to a computer.
Proceed with extended programming using the appropriate software.
Connect the module to the vehicle.
Close all vehicle doors and the trunk/hatch.
Insert the keyfob into the keyport.
Push the vehicle's start button once to the ON position. The module's LED will turn solid RED.
Wait for the module's LED to turn solid GREEN for 2 seconds (this may take up to 15 seconds).
Push the vehicle's start button once to the OFF position.
Remove the keyfob from the keyport.

Factory Reset Procedure

Disconnect all connectors from the module EXCEPT the black 4-PIN standard or optional data connector.
Disconnect the black 4-PIN standard or optional data connector.
Press and HOLD the programming button while connecting either the 4-PIN standard or optional data connector.
When the LED flashes red, RELEASE the programming button.
The LED will turn solid red for 2 seconds, indicating the reset is complete.
Reconnect all connectors.

Take Over Procedure - PTS - To the Vehicle Owner

Note: All vehicle doors must be closed and locked prior to the remote start sequence.

Unlock and open the vehicle door. Enter the vehicle.
Time Restriction: Within 45 SECONDS from the previous step, press and release the BRAKE pedal.
The take over procedure is completed.
