Miele Fully Integrated Dishwasher Installation Diagram
This document provides installation diagrams and instructions for Miele fully integrated dishwashers.
General Information
To prevent accidents and machine damage, read the Operating/Installation and Important Safety Instructions before installation or use.
Fittings supplied depend on the model. Optional accessories may be required.
Ensure all characters are verified for accuracy.
Required Dimensions
- Standard Height Models: Minimum undercounter height of 32 7/16" (835 mm) if the intake hose is coiled under the dishwasher.
- XXL Height Models: Minimum undercounter height of 34 13/16" (885 mm) if the intake hose is coiled under the dishwasher.
- Ensure the hose is free of kinks and can move freely after installation.
- Do not place the hose or power cord near a heat source or expose them to corrosive substances.
- Warning: Damage to the hose or power cord could cause electrical shock or water damage!
- Cabinet dimensions:
- Width: 23 1/4" (590 mm) to 23 7/16" (595 mm)
- Height: 32 1/16" (815 mm) to 34 5/8" (880 mm) for standard models, 33 11/16" (855 mm) to 36 1/4" (920 mm) for XXL models.
- Depth: Minimum 22 7/16" (570 mm)
Installation Steps
The following steps outline the general installation process. Refer to the diagrams for specific details.
- Prepare the cabinet opening according to the specified dimensions.
- Install any necessary mounting brackets or supports.
- Attach the front panel to the dishwasher door.
- Connect the water intake hose and drain hose. Ensure proper routing to avoid kinks.
- Connect the electrical supply. Verify voltage, rated load, and fuse rating.
- Slide the dishwasher into the prepared cabinet opening.
- Secure the dishwasher in place using the provided fittings.
- Adjust the leveling feet to ensure the dishwasher is stable and level.
- Warning: Do not use a cordless screwdriver, as it may cause damage.
- Warning: Sharp edges can damage the power cord and hoses. If cabinet panels have sharp edges, round them off with sandpaper or use Miele-approved edge protection for metal panels.
- Adjust the door springs equally on both sides after securing the front panel.
- If the water drain hose connection is lower than the lower basket roller path, raise the drain hose with a bend above this level.
Safety Precautions
- Risk of damage or fire hazard. Check voltage, rated load, and fuse rating.
- Risk of cutting hazard. Handle with care during installation.
- Ensure the intake hose is not kinked or crushed.
- Do not sit the dishwasher on the intake hose.
- Keep power cords and hoses away from heat sources and corrosive substances.
