PXN 9607 PRO Wireless Controller Quick Start Guide

Product Overview

The PXN 9607 PRO is a wireless controller designed for gaming. Key components and features include:

  • USB Charging Port: Located on the top of the controller for charging.
  • Left Joystick: For analog movement control.
  • Directional Pad (D-pad): For directional input.
  • Face Buttons: Four primary action buttons labeled (A), (B), (X), (Y).
  • System Buttons: Includes the [home-button] button for console interaction, often used for power and navigation.
  • Indicator Lights: LEDs that display connection status, battery level, and other modes.
  • TURBO Button: A dedicated button for activating rapid-fire functionality.
  • Shoulder Buttons: Trigger-style buttons on the top, labeled (L), (R), (ZL), (ZR).

SWITCH Console Connection

Wireless Connection

  1. Step 1: On the Switch console, click the [home-button] button to enter the homepage. Select the [controller-icon] icon, then choose "Change Grip/Order".
  2. Step 2: Press and hold the [Y-button] and [home-button] buttons on the controller for 3 seconds to power it on. The 4 LED lights will flash in sequence, indicating it is in the connecting state.
  3. Step 3: After 3-5 seconds, if the LED indicator light remains solid, the controller has successfully connected.

Wired Connection

  1. Step 1: On the Switch console, navigate to [gear-symbol] System settings → Controllers and Sensors. Select "Pro Controller Wired Connection" and ensure the option is set to ON.
  2. Step 2: When the controller is powered off:
    • For SWITCH console: Connect the controller to the SWITCH console using a USB cable with a TYPE-C OTG adapter.
    • For SWITCH Dock: Connect the SWITCH Dock to the controller using a USB cable.
  3. Step 3: Connection is successful when the LED1 indicator flashes.

Adjustable Vibration (Switch console Only)

The controller offers three levels of vibration adjustment.

How to adjust: After the controller connects successfully to the Switch console, press (L) + (R) + (ZL) + (ZR) simultaneously.

NFC Function (Wireless Connection Only)

When the controller is wirelessly connected to the Switch console, you can use amiibo by tapping them to the NFC touch point on the controller to discover new features.

PC Platform Connection

Wired Connection

  1. Step 1: Press the (A) on the controller and connect the gamepad to the PC using a USB cable.
  2. Step 2: The LED 1 and LED 4 indicator lights will flash.
  3. Step 3: For Gamepad Checking on Windows 7/8/10: Navigate to the control interface, then "device and printer", click the controller icon, go to "game control setting", and select "feature test".

POWER OFF/ON

  • Power On: Long press the [home-button] for 1 second.
  • Power Off: Long press the [home-button] for 3 seconds.

Charging Function

Power supply: Standard USB 5V. Can be charged using a mobile charger, computer, or other USB interfaces. Full charged time is 2-3 hours.

Charging indication:

  • Power off state: 4 LED lights flashing. Full charged state: 4 LED lights are off.
  • Charging in working condition: The current LED flashes. The LED stays on when fully charged.
  • When the battery is low: The current LED blinks. Please charge in time.

Sleeping Function

  • The controller enters sleep state after 10 seconds of disconnection.
  • The controller enters sleep state after 5 minutes of inactivity.
  • To wake the controller from sleep mode, press the [home-button].

Reset Function

If the controller experiences functional disorders, dead halts, or other abnormalities, it can be reset. Power off the controller, press the reset switch located in the reset slot on the back of the controller, and then press the [home-button] to restart the connection process.

Horizontal Plane Calibration for Gyroscope of Controller

  • When the controller is in a Power-off state, press the [minus-button], [B-button], and [home-button] buttons simultaneously. The two groups of LED lights on the controller will flash alternately (LED1/2 & LED3/4).
  • Place the controller on a horizontal plane, then press the [plus-button]. The controller will automatically complete the gyroscope calibration within 3 seconds.

TURBO Function

  • Available Buttons for TURBO: (A), (B), (X), (Y), (L), (R), (ZL), (ZR).
  • TURBO Setting: Press the [T-button] + an available function button simultaneously. The selected button will then have TURBO functionality, indicated by the LED indicator flashing during operation.
  • TURBO Clearing: Press the [T-button] + the same function button simultaneously to clear the TURBO function for that button. The LED indicator will remain on during this operation.
  • Clear All TURBO Buttons: Press the [T-button] + [minus-button] simultaneously to clear all set TURBO button functions.

Firmware Update

If the Nintendo SWITCH console system is upgraded, the controller may need a firmware update to ensure compatibility. Firmware can be upgraded via a computer.

The upgrade steps are as follows:

  1. Go to the official website (www.e-pxn.com). Navigate to Service → Download center → Game tool. Find and download the firmware upgrade software for the PXN-9607 Pro.
  2. Open the firmware software. The interface typically displays the current firmware version and prompts for updates. A note advises that the gamepad must be in Update mode. An important note warns against pulling out the USB cable during the update process.
  3. Long-press the left stick in the [down-arrow] direction and connect the controller to a PC's USB port using a USB cable.
  4. The "Update Firmware" option on the software interface will become active, indicating a successful connection. Click this option to begin the upgrade.
  5. Click 'YES' to confirm the upgrade when prompted by a dialog box asking "Are you want to update it?".
  6. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the update. Reboot the controller and then connect it with the Switch console.

Attentions

  1. Avoid excessive vibration. Do not attempt to disassemble, revise, or mend the controller yourself.
  2. Prevent water or other liquids from entering the controller to avoid damage.
  3. Do not store the controller in environments with high humidity, extreme temperatures, heavy oil, or smoke.
  4. Do not expose the controller to fire, as the built-in battery may pose an explosion hazard.
  5. Children should use this product under adult supervision.
